This just shows that Clark was Iowa womens basketball, not sure Jan can recruit the athletes to compete other than sweet 16 teams at best if that.
Very true. But with the one of the most supportive fan bases in the sport, commitment of resources from the university, and momentum from the CC years, isn’t that the goal? Getting there won’t be easy. But that should be the objective.

Hannah is lost if you don’t throw her into her post move.
Play style is debatable, yes they force it inside a lot this year but when two of your three best offensive options are Ava and Hannah that tends to be expected. Last year Jan played small ball with a 4 guard offense and Lucy basically had the green light to do whatever she wanted.
Lack of athleticism is a big issue but I think it's way too soon to say that's something Jan is unable to address.
People don't want recruits to go to Iowa to be "the next Caitlin Clark". Hell most top recruits don't want that either.
All you have to do is ask them............they'll tell you, unsurprisingly enough.
Jan needs to sit with Ben in the off season and rethink their defensive philosophies.

You can’t let an opponent hit 14-17 shots. Overplay the post and let them get other looks. The effective field goal percentage is way too high to not be doubling off at this point.
