Trent Noah is a 4-year development player being thrust in to a tough situation because of injury. He's playing out-of-position. He's actually fairly efficient in the time he does play.

44/39/89 before tonight

But **** the facts.

33% from the field, 2 fouls, 0 assists. If those added to the 7 rebounds is fantastic then we are going all the way. On his defense you can watch any quick player go by him while he watches. Happened all year. Fantastic just isn’t what he is…or he’d be consistent which he is not.
You’re an idiot. Trent probably was the main reason we won this game.

Actually you know nothing and have proved it.

You're the one who said Superstar no one else implied that, just the huge game he had tonight.

If fact for this game tonight he played a fantastic game for his role off the bench.
Fantastic would be a superstar. A decent game by an average player would be, well, a decent game.
Fantastic game for his role off the bench was also not stated.

We define great much differently.
He played a great game because he did nothing to hurt his team but only help. Not eveyone is destined to be a 20 ppg scorer. To play as smart as he did and not let the pressure or environment get to him plus play good enough defense to where he was never exposed one time. That is a great game exactly what was needed.

Noah's shooting over 40% from 3, has a higher defensive rebounding rate than Garrison, and is on par with Chandler for 2nd on the team in steal rate.

He is one of the 8 best players we can put on the court right now.
That’s the main problem.

Noah almost gave the game away with his turnover then damn near turnover again. He hit a three I think. Had some rebounds. I mean if he’s im the game what’s he supposed to do?

Let’s give a shout out to Oweh and Denzel Aberdeen. They carried us. Oweh especially. He drove at will. Couldn’t be stopped. Played like SEC player of the year.

But Noah good shot buddy. Bout time you hit a wide open three. Why you think you was open?

1 of 3 from the field. Superstar!!
You’re an idiot. Just stop. You now nothing about basketball. Where’s your stats about rebounds? Free throws? Defense? Loose ball pickups?

Get lost you piece of ****.

If you think that’s our star player what are some of the other guys. Literally May have 1 of 5 shooting next game with 3 fouls and 2 turnovers. Inconsistent and maximum average player. If that’s the guy we are relying on to get the next championship then sign me up for putting my money on the other team in that game.
Just kill yourself.

You being a prick doesn’t make you right. The guy wouldn’t start for Vandy. Average player. If you think he fantastic then you know nothing about basketball.

Mark Pope knew the minute he walked into Bud Walton Arena that Noah was primed for a big night.

“There’s sometimes when you walk in for shootaround, and you see a guy and you can just see that the rim looks like it’s seven feet wide, and Trent just had that vibe,” Pope told Tom Leach. “I told him this morning, ‘Trent, I don’t know why, I just feel it in my bones that you’re gonna have a game tonight,’ and he delivered. His ball screens were great. He came in and got a couple of early defensive rebounds, clean rebounds that were really important. Controlled the ball, was good defensively, made shots, made free throws. He was really good.”

I get it dude.. Oweh got credit for catching the ball out of bounce. Good pass Noah . Out of bounds corner teammate nowhere to go.

But calls a timeout on the next play. Shout out Noah! No turnovers… make it make sense. Where’s fox to monk?[/QUOTE]

Think Whit Hughes of Mississippi State on their 1996 Final Four team.

Wasn't it fitting to be against a coach that didn't recruit him while another SEC school did? Cal didn't like the "play Richie" stuff and didn't find it worth his trouble. I'm sorry though, a kid from Eastern Kentucky with another SEC offer needs a spot. Playing at UK can set that kid up for life.

I honestly don't know how anyone could watch tonight's game and not think Chandler and Noah could both be standout as SRs
To even put Chandler and Noah on the same level after watching this game is crazy. Chandler plays a huge part in every game as a sophomore. He basically sealed the game with a turn around fader while Noah runs around with hot feet calling timeouts.

Laughable. We needed that shot he hit. And them rebounds. He helped. Almost cost the game at the end.
Oweh stepping out of bounds was on him and Aberdeen not getting open. He had to throw it or take a 5 sec violation. We’re terrible at getting open on an inbounds pass when the defense can set up and face guard us. The same happened last season with Oweh taking the ball out in multiple games. We don’t screen or keep working to get open. Our best hope if there’s not a dead ball and we can hurry before the defense can set up.
