I had the privilege of sitting with the White House team at President @RealDonaldTrump's speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. They all thought he knocked it out of the park, as did I.
I thought it was a powerful speech with the perfect tone for a very diverse audience of world leaders and major companies, not all of whom are our friends. These are not people who would cheer like grassroots conservatives at a Republican rally, but it’s clear he won the room from the comments I heard from the crowd as we exited.
Friend or foe, they saw a serious leader who does not mince words when talking about protecting our nation and making our economy the envy of the world. He says things that other world leaders would like to say, but don’t have the courage to say.
With all due respect Europe needs to get onboard. The free ride is over. Canada as well.
Oh hell no, he needs to treat our friends with respect or we won't have any friends at all. And don't think for a second that we'll be fine if they all cut ties.
