these ladies got after it
Maybe if officials actually called the game properly, this kind of crap would not happen.

I've long been of the opinion that it's amazing fights don't break out a couple times in every game, men and women. Basketball has to be the most frustrating game to put up with repeated instances of unfair and incompetent officiating. The refs have the final word. They can say 2+2 is five, and you're just supposed to accept it. And almost all the time, acceptance is what happens. That's pretty amazing, not that a scuffle actually occurs on rare occasions. At least that's how it looks to me as someone who has played quite a bit of basketball, coached a little, and even reffed a bit.Maybe if officials actually called the game properly, this kind of crap would not happen.
Like you said, Meh. A couple of hands thrown, of course none actually hit anyone. Its pretty obvious they don't really want to hit anyone. Lots of pushing though.....Meh, I saw better fights in Iowa WBB games back in the 80s.

Clip pls.Meh, I saw better fights in Iowa WBB games back in the 80s.
Or pretty much any game involving the "Bad boys" in Detroit with Lambeer, Mahorn and RodmanThat's a common foul in 1984 Boston vs L.A. finals. She barely hit the canvas.
It was a jump ball they wouldn't let go - what was there to call?Maybe if officials actually called the game properly, this kind of crap would not happen.
In prehistoric times, there were no video cameras in our pockets. One fight I remember happened in a game against WI. Tricia Blair was on the team, so it was in the mid-80s. Two bigs got into a scuffle under the basket and continued to roll around punching while the other eight players ran to the other end of the court. The crowd roared like WWF fans. No one was ejected.Clip pls.
