Bastida dec Keuter 11-4

Peterson dec Poulin 4-1

[pokepelli]

Peterson iowaed Poulin. They bore you to sleep with pushing and stalling and punch at the end or in OT for a small victory.

Bastia got after it and didn’t let it happen.

I wasnt sure if Frost is for real-he clearly is. What a win over Ayala

[OSUBigBadBob]

lol @ OSU logo for Bailey

Frost dec Ayala 8-5

Cyclones 6-3

[pokepelli]

Frost took the aggression and won. It’s the code to beating them

[osufanatic4life]

Bailey is soft.

[OSUBigBadBob]

Johnson should got a stall call in third. He did nothing

[joberfire"okstatefan"]

Block iowa 2-1 ot

10=6 clones

[DPJ1]

Paniro is hard to watch, I'd put Frost in there at least he'll go for a td more than once a match.

I’m so glad Williams is no longer a cowboy.

197 Elam ISU vs Endeme Iowa
should be good

[Travis25]

Kennedy being ranked #2 at 174 shows how soft that weight class is.

[joberfire"okstatefan"]

Elam dec Endene 8-2

Clones 20-14 final

[pokepelli]

Great dual.
Again, attack Iowa and they don’t know how to respond. Just a defensive stall tactic team.

[TheJimReaper]

Iowa State will be a very tough dual for us. We can win but we need to bring our A game.

[OSUBigBadBob]

Both Iowa and ISU duals will be wars

Aside from Caliendo, the other 9 guys combined for 3 takedowns.

[chasepollard]

I know it will never happen, but when Iowa starts that just using forward pressure with no actual attempt to score, it should be stalling on them.

They remove any setting up to score and force stupid mistakes or stall calls. It is literally a stall tactic in its own way.

Either way, the better team won that one.

[SlickWillie18]

I could be wrong, but I think wrestling Robideau would make Jordan Williams quit the sport of wrestling (again).

OSU should win 125, 141, 157, 164
ISU should win 133, 149, 174, 184, 197, Hwt
Unless we get 1-2 upsets, I see ISU as favorites as with neutral perspective.
But if Ronnie gets better, One of 174/184 gets an upset, we can take it.

I think I would favor Jamison over Johnson.

Paniro is just about toast.
Block beat the bigger Frost 2X in high school, and I think Dresser figured Paniro was too quick for Block.
Frost will get the nod going forward.

Sarcasm????
Caliendo got a stall warning in the 2nd period leading 9-3 and was the agressor entire match.

[joberfire"okstatefan"]

I don’t see where we lose a match!!

Spratley - Poulin
Ramirez - Frost
Vega - Echemendia
Swiderski - Johnson/Frost
Robideau - Zerban
Lockett - Euton
Facundo - Gaitan
Ryder - Dean
Merrill - Elam
Doucet - Bastida

Most of these matches are very close imo. To me the only clear favorites are for us at 165 and possibly 157, and for them at 149 (without Tagen), 197, and possibly 285.

Here’s how the dual should go…

25- major
33- gets it figured out
41- major
49- injury default, 6 for the good guys
57- major
65- major
74- major
84- major
97- decision (Rocky fan here)
285- decision (Bastida is really good)

37-0 good guys!

Wow ... Chase seems to be losing faith ... doesn't think any of our guys know how to pin.

Not going to throw too much shade (I say this not having seen all the matches), but Iowa State wasn’t shooting a ton either but was good defensively.

[FourCornersCowboy]

We’re a young team so stylishly we will have issues with both teams, eventually the chain wrestling approach from our staff will breakthrough and we’ll distance ourselves.
