Oh I'm familiar with how it began. I just think it's incredibly cringy.
They actually aren't. Trump is a reality TV star who has made politics reality TV, with one bombastic "flood the zone" antic after the other. The problem is, it's actually hurting everyday, ordinary people. Anyone with a pulse is annoyed at the least, and livid at him and his administration at the worst.
This isn't hard. There is no TDS. There is no obsession. There is a crook who sold a vision to enough of a group of people that they bought it hook, line, and sinker, and now are sinking with him.
Everyone that has issue with Trump has every right to. He asked for it, and he's getting what he deserved

MAGA is the one obsessed with Trump - it’s amazing how much slack the MAGAts provide him relative to Presidents of years past. Imagine if you swapped “Biden” for “Trump” in the Epstein files - the outrage on the far right might cause another Jan 6th.
It’s not about being “proven right” - it’s about establishing a bar for the Presidency much higher than where it’s at with Trump across all the graft (conflicted at best, corrupted at worst), hideous sex crimes and history (including hush money for porn stars), and the temperament of a poorly parented toddler, to name a small fraction of the issues. I’ve voted both R & D - this is not a matter of left vs. right for me.

The definition of deranged is wildly irrational or uncontrolled. On the former, we are simply responding to numerous photos, letters (“May everyday be another wonderful secret”), and emails/texts involving our President the the most prolific sex offender of our time. Most prolific is not hyperbole, either.
We are communicating in complete sentences, and not resorting to posting memes and twitter messages from the dark corners of the internet only because they align with our worldview.

- pens a weird birthday note to Epstein where he muses about secrets to life that they share and signs his name as pubic hair on a drawing of a female body
- lies about the birthday doodle and says he doesn't doodle only to have a huge number of people come forward with doodles that he has given out over the decades along with his matching signature
- campaigns for nearly a decade about how he's going to release the Epstein files then suddenly says it's all a hoax
- lies about the timeline whereby he claims he severed his relationship with Epstein
- stages a stunt via his AG where they call a bunch of MAGA influencers to wave binders around at the WH only to later act like it's all a hoax
- appears in the Epstein files hundreds or thousands of times
- quotes from Epstein himself where he says he is Trump's best friend
- discussion before Trump was anywhere near politics between Epstein and Maxwell where they talk about Trump specifically being involved with what they were doing
