Oh ok so the FBI, IRS, NSA, CIA, DOJ and like three states investigated Trump nonstop since 2016 and all they could find was an accounting error while this giant Epstein smoking gun was just sitting with Merrick Garland over at the DOJ, on Comey’s daughters desk and they did nothing with it until now?

There is no reasonable explanation for why Trump is trying so damn hard to block the release of these files after spending such considerable time discussing the release of it during his campaign. The new emails also show that Maxwell perjured herself before getting moved to the country club prison. This is disgusting stuff and everything needs to be released asap.

And what does "knew about the girls"? mean. You take it to mean that Trump knew that Epstein was selling minors into prostitution and possibly having sex with them himself. That's quite a leap. It could just as easily mean that he knew that Epstein hired young women to host parties. I think that was common knowledge.
I have mixed feelings about releasing all the files. Of course I would like all the facts but the "files" likely include documents that say certain people were investigated but never charged. I know that libs would say any reps that fell into that category were guilty and it would be all over the news. IMO that's not a good thing. I also heard that some of the victims don't want their names in the media. My guess is that there are some prominent people and/or foreign dignitaries that neither party want dragged through the mud.
Biden's DOJ could have released the files, especially after Maxwell's final appeal failed a month before the election. Trump campaigned on releasing the files but he hasn't released them all. I don't think he would have campaigned on this if he knew he was guilty of something. IMO the ideal solution would be to allow a small group of Ds and Rs to quietly review the files in private but today's political environment is too charged. The dems don't want the facts. They want anything possible to smear Trump and reps. That's not justice.
