Yeah, but isn't the point about Dylan? Not sure he could be sure he could beat out Kienholz at OSU. They have packages for Kienholz already.

I agree, whatever works..like some say Pritchett is starting to get it...but can he do that all next year? is that a roll of the dice? do we need a solid back-up incase? these are the questions that need to be addressed soberly3 of Oregon’s starting O linemen are portal additions this season. We need to be able to develop our own to get better IMO. Maybe get a guy or two if we can but I don’t think buying 3 guys year in and year out is a sustainable business model
Settle down ol boy. Im saying getting people to fight on a message board then watching them fighting from afar is being a trollExactly what the **** is trolling about what I posted? It's 95% factual and then an observation.
I kind of agree at least with the QB coach. It seems both Dana and Matt don't like Dylan to hold the ball so long but maybe he just feels like he's gonna do the progressions regardless??Dylan would need to drop both the Mahomes act and his QB coach Christensen, in order to be coachable and successful at a top program.
And UGA recruited over himHe won't go to Ohio State. Sayin will be back next year.
My post isn't intended to get people to fight, maybe just rather they open their eyes. I'm not fighting from afar, I believe I've addressed every single comment on this topic.Settle down ol boy. That is where I question your comment. When I watch TJ I see a kid who has much quicker feet and a quicker release. The release is measured from when the QB sees the receiver and then makes the throw. It appears that TI just sets up quicker, finds the open receiver and gets rid of the ball quicker. He was given the job. They could have designed the same quick pass concepts for Dylan which could have minimized his mistakes.
Cesspool is the troll, why he is so in tune with the finer nuances of the sad practice. My post isn't intended to get people to fight, maybe just rather they open their eyes. I'm not fighting from afar, I believe I've addressed every single comment on this topic.
Exactly what did I say that would be trolling? An opinion is not a troll. Eveything I said is true.
What If the QB was like Harper Murray and mocked the shooting of Charlie Kirk?I just want to win. Don't care who is the QB. Best man for the job. If it's Dylan for another year or it's TJ. Curious to see how these final 2 and the bowl game look.
That's fair criticism, just remember some on here would take issue with that. I don't.That is where I question your comment. All that said, it was one game against a very bad D so we really may not know much yet. Certainly you call plays conducive to your talent but you don’t overhaul the playbook.
Trolling faygut. So predictable. What If the QB was like Harper Murray and mocked the shooting of Charlie Kirk?
That has zero bearing to what is being discussed here. What If the QB was like Harper Murray and mocked the shooting of Charlie Kirk?
No sh*t.Trolling faygut. So predictable.
Most of these unknown posters have to be trolls and they are very irritating acting like a Nebraska fan. Geez I’m happy we have two reliable quarterback compared to Rhules first season, Dylan got us to a bowl game last year for the first time in eight years. We’re. 7-3 and Dylan is a big part of the 6 wins. To all you fake neb fans go pound sandDR is not going anywhere. Stop talking like that. He's going to be our number one unless he can't come back from injury.
show some respect for a veteran! And go back to the Iowa boardWith all due respect, I'll talk about anything as long as I want to and that's the way it is.
First of all, since April 19, 1974, I'm an Honorably Discharged Air Force veteran, you got it??show some respect for a veteran! And go back to the Iowa board
I apologize and thank you for your service! i will say when you post don’t write a book, youll lose most people, make a direct and to the point. You do have good points just keep it simple and directFirst of all, since April 19, 1974, I'm an Honorably Discharged Air Force veteran, you got it??
Other than a year in 1970 when I lived in Virginia and the 3 years I spent in the Air Force, I've lived in Nebraska for 67 years.
Been a NU fan since 1962. Have NEVER been on or visited ANY team website other than this one.
Virtually every thing you said is bullsh*t, So get your facts straight kiddo.
It doesn't matter what some think. Dylan was the best thing to happen to NU in a long time. If you don't think he has won that locker room you are mistaken. He's not going anywhere. Coach Rhule is not going anywhere. We’re not married to Dylan Raiola. TJ is exactly the kind of quarterback that can win in college. I’ll be pissed if we lose him.
He’s a PR genius. He’s pretty questionable as a quarterback. It doesn't matter what some think. Dylan was the best thing to happen to NU in a long time. If you don't think he has won that locker room you are mistaken. He's not going anywhere. Coach Rhule is not going anywhere.
No need for an apology. As far as the request to not write a book, no can do.I apologize and thank you for your service! i will say when you post don’t write a book, youll lose most people, make a direct and to the point. You do have good points just keep it simple and direct
He's in his sophomore year and he's 6-2 before injury. That's a 75% winning percentage. Compare that to Amart. Now, imagine we had a good OL. That's why it's a total rebuild. He’s a PR genius. He’s pretty questionable as a quarterback.
Georgia didn't recruit over Dylan. Wow that's a troll statement and a complete lie and fact! And UGA recruited over him
If he leaves, it’ll be for Miami or somewhere like that where they can once again hand him the job to OP’s point
Not somewhere he’ll have to compete
I didn’t call your post a troll and I wasn’t even responding to you originally. I actually agree with your OP and he is entitled. My post isn't intended to get people to fight, maybe just rather they open their eyes. I'm not fighting from afar, I believe I've addressed every single comment on this topic.
Exactly what did I say that would be trolling? An opinion is not a troll. Eveything I said is true.
FIFYI'm sure there are some schools out there that would fit DR, he should transfer.
why do you dislike Dylan so much? So your a professional gambler? No need for an apology. As far as the request to not write a book, no can do.
Not to be a smarta*s, but I've yet to run out of space on the many posts I've written.
Being direct to the point is good, but this is likely a 70/30 pro-Dylan issue, so my choice is to
include relevant background information. Followed by Dannen's motive.
As a professional handicapper my game is based on details, and the more details the better.
I meant at this point if he chooses to enter the portalGeorgia didn't recruit over Dylan. Wow that's a troll statement and a complete lie and fact!
From Dylan's Jr year in HS all the way through Ohio St and Georgia til he flipped to us, he was the number 1 ranked QB in the nation and most of that time as well, he was the number 1 recruit in the country. I followed his recruitment from the beginning. I never thought he'd even give us another look after how badly Frost fk'd up his official visit by prioritizing getting fk's up with his buddies instead of being there for it. No team will over recruit the number 1 at any position period. Maybe do something that's apparently foreign to you, which is research instead of throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks like normal!
As a matter of fact, it was his dad that convinced him to give us another look after Rhule was hired as he had pretty much written us off and was gonna stay with Georgia.
Sadly something that will never change is the recruiting bias towards DONU. So many times in the past, we've had highly ranked recruits commit to us and somehow after their commit's their final rankings bottomed out. Dylan dropped from number 1 to number 3 after he flipped to us after spending the better part of 2 years at number 1. The only one that was really immune to it was Callahan as we had commits that made enormous jumps in the final rankings. You don't argue with a dude that's in the national recruiting HOF which Callahan is a member of. He had already been inducted into it before he left to do his 1st coaching stint in the NFL.
How about 13-9?He's in his sophomore year and he's 6-2 before injury. That's a 75% winning percentage. Compare that to Amart. Now, imagine we had a good OL. That's why it's a total rebuild.
No, no I’m not. In fact, I doubt I’ve ever even interacted with you. So what the hell are you even talking about?Cesspool is the troll, why he is so in tune with the finer nuances of the sad practice.
Easy isn’t trolling. Bigboxes like myself would rather not have to deal with the possibility of Dylan leaving but in today’s NIL transfer world the possibility is real. Look at Carson Beck leaving Georgia for Miami. The days of a returning starter graciously competing for his job are over. Most of these unknown posters have to be trolls and they are very irritating acting like a Nebraska fan. You’re irritating at times. Sarcastic at times. Overly negative at times. But I don’t think you’re trollingNo, no I’m not. In fact, I doubt I’ve ever even interacted with you. So what the hell are you even talking about?
It's not a matter of liking or disliking Dylan. He's not all this and that. He's done very well for himself and his career has been managed at every turn. That always leads to entitlement.why do you dislike Dylan so much? So your a professional gambler?
Dannen was not brought here to write blank checks, in a win at all costs arrangement. He was brought here because he was a compromise between Midwest ties, woke academia and history/friends if friends with MR....The dude is a cuck. The huge DR fans won't particularly like this, but it tells a story.
2021 DR in TX, given the job without ever throwing a pass.
2022 DR in AZ New school, same story.
2023 DR in GA, transferred in immediately handed the keys.
Signed with and withdrew from both Georgia and Ohio State.
Signed with NU, given the job without throwing a pass.
He's never had to compete for the starting job, why leave GA and OSU when he would have to compete.
Why no push for him to try to win the job from WIll Howard or Carson Beck?

Dannen doesn't care who starts, he cares who wins. Dannen doesn't care who the QB is. He cares that the best one plays, and the money follows. Dannen is here to monetize the program, to awaken a sleeping giant. His objective will be a transparent QB competition next year and may the best man win. Are there portal issues that can result? Yes.
Matt's career has been about survival, he doesn't make changes until it threatens his survival. He panicked last year after UCLA and brought in Dana. He has a problem with Donovan Raiola because he fears the Raiola name.
It’s pretty tough to put all the Ws and Ls on a QB. There are a plethora of other factors that contribute to the record and his stats. it still is a team sport with coaches. TDs to INTs coupled with his rushing and passing yards can be a fair measure if 2 QBs are playing behind the same O line with the same play caller. How about 13-9?
Hope you are correct.Dylan and Lateef will be Husker in 26, this matter is closed till 27
Gramstead.I think NU fans are even more emotional than your regular football fan. Lateef has a bad game against PSU and people will be clamoring for Trae Taylor.

So you are suggesting the coaches in TX never watched him throw a pass in practice and never watched his 8th grade games or film of it and determined this kid is better than what we have now? And, he must not have thrown any passes at his TX school if his AZ coaches gave him the keys without ever seeing him throw a pass. By the time he got to GA, wasn't he already considered one of the top HS QBs in the country? If Quniten Ewers had transferred to Millard North for his senior year, you don't think coaches would have immediately handed him the keys without him throwing a pass in a MN game? Your premise has zero logic. The huge DR fans won't particularly like this, but it tells a story.

You mean he was gonna stay at Georgia and be a backup to Carson Beck, that's why Dominic was shopping for a situation for Dylan to just step in. Believe it or not, there are a LOT of schools out there where a QB like DR doesn't fit in their plans. I know back in the day, TO wouldn't have given DR a second look cause he wasn't gonna change our offense to include a QB who can't present a threat as a runner.Georgia didn't recruit over Dylan.
