So true.It's disturbing (well, slightly) how many judge the play call by its 1 in a 1,000 (bizarre-super-ricochet-and-perfect-bounce-to-a-running-defender) outcome. If he makes the kick, KF would be lauded for finally having enough aggression, letting a player with a super gift try to break a record and extend our lead. And if it just missed or was blocked and recovered for no score, all would be fine.
And using KF's over the top self-deprecating retrospect analysis as proof is silly. That's his nature. If Drew made it, or just missed he wouldn't have said one negative thing. He obviously didn't think it was a HORRIBLE call or he wouldn't have made it in the first place.
It's the classic "told you so" (non) logic we all learn at like age 5.
