The $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.
Rutgers1000 can go to hellThe $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.
Not sure I would go that far. But it sure as hell ain't the same as it was. And I can fully sympathize with anyone who says this is not what I signed up for.The $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.
Their ilk are arrogant d-bags. But sadly it looks like they were right.Rutgers1000 can go to hell
Right about what?Maybe so. But sadly they were right. After 11 years in the B1G I’m ready to admit that.
Agreed. We have no chance when a competing school in conference can just have company buy off coach for $50,000,000. What's the point? The $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.
Alright so move on..No one is gonna give wut we need. Not happening. Nor should it.
Rutgers doesn’t belong in the B1G with schools who have been investing in athletics for a half a century or more. And if we go to AAC or a similar lower level FBS conference we lose too much money. So FCS seems like the rightful place for RU.Right about what?
Lol..we're losing like $85mil now ..Rutgers doesn’t belong in the B1G with schools who have been investing in athletics for a half a century or more. And if we go to AAC or a similar lower level FBS conference we lose too much money. So FCS seems like the rightful place for RU.
Where the fv*k have you been, NJ already does, which is why there's no money for NIL they don't care about sports. The $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.

That doesn't make any sense, why not build a better football program to compete in the B1G? Is that not an option? What kind of energy is this? HolyRutgers doesn’t belong in the B1G with schools who have been investing in athletics for a half a century or more. And what coach will come with out accompanying investment piece in NIL for players?Spend money on coaching. Not players
And what coach will come with out accompanying investment piece in NIL for players?
The university will never go all in on athletics, like a PSU or Oregon. Which is right call.Rutgers is in the B1G, it benefits everyone if the football team becomes a winning program. Maybe it's time to stop being afraid you won't be able to find a better coach and go find a better coach..
Good luck. I’d love that. I won’t hold my breath though. Been waiting since my frosh year in 1997 when we were 0-11. I moved out of state several years ago and gave up my tickets so luckily I don’t sit through these beatings anymore. i feel bad for those who still choose to and would love a turnaround for the fans and alumni. That doesn't make any sense, why not build a better football program to compete in the B1G? Is that not an option?
Not low T just reality. But I do realize that the be AD didn't come here for us to go to a lower division. Hate to say it but she took the job, no time to get adjusted, after this game she is on the clockThat doesn't make any sense, why not build a better football program to compete in the B1G? Is that not an option? What kind of energy is this? Holyis the board suffering from low T? What's the pills that Frank Thomas and Doug Flutie sell? And she'll like it too lol

They don't have to they just need to find a coach that will bring the right kind of energy..this team could have been good, they have talent...too many times tonight it looked like the defense wasn't prepared for even just the formations Oregon was lining up in, like they watched no film. Not low T just reality
Renewable energy?!? WTF donates to something like that? The $ is insane and we will never compete. Give money to cancer research or renewable energy. Paying $30 million to field a fb team is criminal and despicable. I'll watch but don't care.
Not really. Michigan is only example.you can go all in on athletics while also maintaining education excellence
For the record, Oregon and Penn State round out the bottom of Big Ten in academic standards. Nebraska I believe is worst. But that's because no one applies to Nebraska. Oregon and PSU blow their loads on football, particularly PSUNot really. Michigan is only example.
Everyone else's offense looks exciting and innovative Rutgers looks as if they are running a highschool playbook, the defense looks lost, I was never a fire schiano guy but this was a bad showing, I did not expect them to bear Oregon but at least expected the team to approach the game as if they were going to win... schiano giving sideline interviews talking about he just wants the team to be physical. Bs that sounds like one of the defeated posters in this board..new energy is required..it's time.
Unless you give him money to buy players, you could hire Bill Parcells and it wouldn't matter. Exhibit 1 being the situation in UNC. We do not have this money, nor will we ever have this money.Rutgers is in the B1G, it benefits everyone if the football team becomes a winning program. Maybe it's time to stop being afraid you won't be able to find a better coach and go find a better coach..
A very clueless statement. Penn State has…Texas has, Georgia has, Texas A&M has, Notre Dame has, USC has, Florida has, Virginia has, Stanford has…there are other excellent schools with billions in research dollars and rope end academics that have also excelled as ADs (overall athletics)Not really. Michigan is only example.
Because of the players not the plays they are running. You have 3 NFL receivers! And a running back that will probably get there as well..The offense has been a bright spot.
His collective didn't work out, he made an effort. The school will be making new nil efforts now, go eat some steak and do some push ups lol giving up should never be an option in anything...also Geo Baker is a young man, much younger than I am, he was in the boards to promote his nil efforts not to have a good time and socialize..Unless you give him money to buy players, you could hire Bill Parcells and it wouldn't matter. Exhibit 1 being the situation in UNC. We do not have this money, nor will we ever have this money.
The absolute best we could ever hope for is (1) a unified SuperConference of professional college football forms, (2) by some miracle, Rutgers is invited to join, and (3) there is a hard salary cap. Other than that? We're just dicking around.
EDIT: By the way, I notice we haven't seen a lot of recent posts by Rutgers 1000 Man-of-the-Decade Geo Baker. Shouldn't he be all over New Brunswick teaching our 5 star recruits how to open t-shirt businesses and host 8th grade sports camps?
full stop, this is absolute nonsense and people like you really should just get some perspective or stfu. this is a level of dumb no one needsRutgers doesn’t belong in the B1G with schools who have been investing in athletics for a half a century or more. ...... so you want to be a big fish in a small pond and in 10 years when tv revenue doubles then what?Rutgers doesn’t belong in the B1G with schools who have been investing in athletics for a half a century or more.
