Are we ? Over the past few years, yes. But how about now ? hold off on that claim until after next weekend. Even if true, being #17 out of 18 this year and having a 25% conference winning rate shows that Grifter Greg is a lousy HC.

Strictly speaking of Purdue…at this moment, show me one single thing that makes the better? Give me just a stat, anything.
That can change but up until now, just give me anything. I’ll wait

Was just listening to a pod and you know who could actually go winless in conference is Wisconsin. Didn’t realize what they had left on the schedule.

They have OSU, Oregon Washington, IU, Illinois and Minnesota…last game of the season might be their only chance.

He’s owed 27M if fired.
Might want to take Minnesota of that list. Either Nebraska sucks or Minnesota is legit. The good news is if Washington and Iowa win today, Rutgers may have lost to 3 ranked teams before tonight's game, 2 of them very close games. That's a sign of excellent progress! ;)

I've watched every game and would see we're about equal. they have a better D than we do and that is going to be the deciding factor in our game imho
The team that lives by the ball is the program better will win- kidding aside, turnovers and special teams play will likely make the difference. Odom is a very good coach.

agree, Purdue makes a lot of mistakes so if we limit ours, that could be the difference more so than the D.

OP is still right if they can put this crap behind them like they did with Wisconsin and UCLA last year. Let's see what they're made of. Plus, I think more people on this board will be mad if it happens. Most rooting to lose out.

At this rate we may lose out

No, not even Shelby would prefer 3-9 because the fraud coach wouldn’t be fired anyway.

But yea, if 3-9 would get him fired Shelby would prefer that to 6-6 and keeping him because he ain’t ever going to do better than that since last year’s dream schedule won’t arise again.

This thread deserves a revisit

Have you watched them play? They are not a doormat. They come out and play hard in the first half, and then they falter in second half. Sound familiar?

I hope you bought some lotto tix after this, and then put some $$ in NIL! This was a prophetic prediction about Purdue.

If we beat OSU and PSU and then beat Clemson in the Music City bowl finish 8-5 and ranked #23 is Schiano still fired?

The best we can hope for is the Detroit Bowl vs. a MAC team... providing we upset State Penn. Not a bad outcome vs. where we stood after the Oregon game.
