I hope so…

There have been implications, that the Hawkeyes feel good about some specific recruits. I think Lewis is the most likely they feel confident about, even though the intel on her is all over the place. After that it is wide open. I think they will get 3 recruits but I think they would be fine with 2 as well and then play the transfer portal.

Iowa got what it really needed: McKenna Woliczko. Whatever comes next will always have a positive side. Getting Jenica Lewis and Bjorn will be great, but if we don't get them, having four spots to use in the Portal and the 2027 class will be great too.

I have read a couple of posts where Jenica is the player that the Hawkeyes really need to blend with Deal. I am not so sure. If you get Bjorn, I think you can find another combo guard to blend in with Deal. That starting 5 would be brutal. 2 elite 5's with size and the ability to run I think will destroy the majority of teams. We won't have a Caitlin, but we will have skill players most programs won't be able to match.

Iowa already appears to be a very solid team with Chit Chat, Deal, Rodriguez, Woliczko, and Heiden. And Iowa yet have many others CG and wings on the roster. Not having another true PG besides Chit Chat and Kennise Johnson is the only immediate need I see. Of course, having Bjorn and Jenica Lewis would be great, but it's not so necessary as Woliczko was to replace Hannah.

I would like to see this team add a couple of players that can really shoot the three and defend the perimeter. Next year, they lose McCabe (great shooter, so-so defender) and Feuhrbach (great defender, so-so shooter). Replacing them with 2 athletes that excel at both would be great.

I think Bjorn and Lewis would be perfect. Probably a pipe dream, but that would be pretty awesome.

I might be totally wrong but I believe too many of us are under appreciating the effect Taylor McCabe has on the game. Whether she starts or comes off the bench she is a valuable weapon. Can we replace that or is it not necessary? I’m sure we have many opinions on this but it’s pretty obvious I am a HUGE believer in the power of shooters and the “3”. I’m all in on stretching the floor!!!

Rodriguez is already a replace for Kylie at 3, maybe a update. And we have Stremlow, Mallegni, Levin, and Houston waiting your time for receive the McCabe's minutes. I'd be happy if Jan add Jenica (and Bjorn too obviously). Jenica seems a danger in 3pt, but if that doesn't happen, we'll still have four spots to attack the Portal and the 2027 recruiting class. We'll be fine.

It sounds like there are only 3 viable options left for this class, and none of them are guarantees: Lewis, Bjorn, and Byles. (Trinity Jones seems like she's not considering Iowa, recently said in an interview that she "wants to go to a school down south.") At this point, I'd be happy with any commitment so it's not just McKenna in that class by herself

I would consider not hearing of a commitment from Lewis or Byles to Notre Dame is a positive at this point.

Byles released a final four on TikTok yesterday that did not include Iowa. I think Byles and MW play similar positions, so it's not a surprise.

I think Lewis is important for two reasons: her basketball skills and her connection to Iowa, where she plays for AIA. We need to keep the AIA pipeline going. It will help as we recruit Chloe Johnson, who would currently be a higher-rated recruit than Caitlin.

What schools are Byles final four? I don't have TikTok.

You’re STILL crying. Over nothing. Let. It. Go.
If I was the jackwagon on the subject I would admit it and move on.
You just want your attack on good kids for no reason to just go away.
One of what I would assume is several character differences between the two of us.

For Amari Byles to cancel the remaining two visits from her top6 right after Notre Dame visit, it's likely she's already made up her decision. So that gif was for her likely. Looking at the glass half-full, besides the gif not being for Jenica, ND must have pressured Jenica to make up her decision and do the same as Byles, and she didn't. This is a good sign for Iowa.

Caitlin Clark must have given her neighborhood girl Jenica Lewis a call and told her about "how I committed to Notre Dame and regretted it right away, don't make the same mistake!"

I had seen that a couple of places. Some of you people may like AI but there are so many falsehoods used by some it makes it hard to know what is true or not. Not much we can do about it. Probably some good in it I realize but to many lies put out there and I am against it. I do hope Bjorn commits to the Hawks-would be a great addition.

Talia has Bjorn at 60% to Iowa
Wow. This is a much confiable prediction. It's not just some random Recruiting Prediction Machine. Talia puts her name forward and confirms that her sources are pointing to Iowa. It's so good to think that Iowa could get the top 2026 recruiting class with Woliczko (#6), Bjorn (#10), and Lewis (#24), that it's almost hard to believe.

Whoa, easy big fella. We are a long way from being able to say that. Lewis and Bjorn have not committed. Hope they do, but we have a ways to go.

"Lewis and Bjorn have not committed." Thank you for the unsolicited information. If you hadn't told us, no one would have known about it.

my coment was: “This is a much confiable PREDICTION”. and “It's so good to THINK that Iowa COULD get the top 2026 recruiting class”

Maybe you didn't understand the meaning of some words in my comment. I'm just happy with the prediction and trends from a reliable insider e with the future possibilities.

If that bothers you, I'm sorry for you.

I would venture to bet it’s going to be very hard to get both Lewis and Bjorn (not that we won’t). If you had to pick one who would it be?
