Definitely. But those weeent bad looks, especially the IU game. Iowa looked extremely competitive against top 20ish competition. Even though the offense is still mediocre.

But it’s a game against a team like Wisky that will be the turning point. A game that highlights Iowas low margin of error and likely indicates an inability to find enough wins to be bowl eligible. Thats what will cause Beth to pull the trigger. Because it would also not bode well for next season.

All TBD. Hoping the Hawks come out and take care of biz. There’s not a realistic path to 6-7 wins without this game IMO.

I was at that indiana-IA game a couple weekends ago, kept looking up at the jumbotron, seeing 10-10 and 13-13. was amazed. dunno why I was amazed. it should not have shocked me one bit. then the loss at 20-15 was not a shock. the shocking thing was the amount of ladies everywhere. at a college town, that should not shock me either. I was a few beers in.

I was at that indiana game . I was outside on melrose, watching from a jumbotron. it was fun. tailgate. yes I thought it was a bad look for sure. had fun, but typical iowa loss. I understand your point about wisky. this one is a must have. lose this one and the seat gets hotter.
