Yeah. Patel isn't making it to the end of the year. He's gonna get reassigned.

It was an awful, awful look for the head of the FBI to be posting inaccuracies online. Just an awful look.

Did nobody catch the part where Kash Patel claimed Epstein didn't traffic the girls to anybody? Apparently the courts, all the pundits, everybody had it wrong, no sex trafficking at all.

this is the first administration that I can recall that goes to Congress loaded for bear. Trumps appointees give as well as they take.
I agree. Not good that the senate and senate hearings have gotten to this point but it is what it is. Glad that the admin's reps are pushing back.

TBH, that's why at the outset there was no direct popular election of senators. The founding fathers were skeptical of the easily swayed, emotional electorate and hoped that the senate, being appoopointed by the state legislatures to represent the state interest would be a more rational and measured than a house of representatives directly elected by popular vote. But then the states legislatures couldn't do their jobs and make sure that there were enough senators to keep a quorum and we got an amendment to the constitution.,

these hearings would be so much more worthwhile if the questions weren't totally slanted based on political bias. You just know that when Booker asks questions, he already knows the answer and is just attempting to be confrontational and create sound bites. And republicans aren't any better.

I don't know how intelligent people can sit through these things

I hope this creepy sycophantic ghoul gets the FAFO he deserves in court because I believe he perjured himself in the hearing today. He said he didn't fire the three agents suing for their unlawful dismissal because he was directed to, by saying they were fired for cause. The lawyer for these three exremely decent, long-serving career professionals says he will prove in court that Kash told them to their faces that he was directed by the White House to release them or he would be fired himself and no matter how hard he tries to skirt the truth, we all know he only serves one man and not the country he was sworn to protect. No way a jury would buy his words over theirs. Does he think everyone has forgotten all the despicable horseshit he shoveled on social media and Steve Bannon's show before he was appointed?

Booker is a walking 3 ring circus full of clowns with an attached freak show. He didnt ask questions in the clip. He made statements.

I don't know what the solution is. But im glad that the administration appointees are giving back when statements are made in the place of questions

Edit: damn auto-correct

These oversight hearings are frequently little more than dog and pony shows where both the people called to testify and the House members or Senators are up there pontificating and/or arguing with each other. But they nonetheless serve a useful purpose, IMHO. Executive branch heads need to be able to articulate a defense of their policies and their motives, and the House members and Senators need to demonstrate that they have a grasp of the subject matter. Sometimes, interesting facts are brought to light. Today's exchanges between Booker and Patel, and Schiff and Patel, were somewhat painful to watch but, notwithstanding the partisan disagreements, they highlighted policy differences for those tuning in (especially those who are not steeped in all of this stuff), and are to some extent educational.

I used to do this kind of work...here's how the process functioned...I would get the proposed questions from the committee's professional staff... I went to my principal and gave him the question, his staff gave me the proposed response...I took response back to the committee staff and this process went on to a point where my priniciipal agreed to the question and the committee agreed with the response. That way no one was embarrassed.

Things seem to have changed, but hearing are still just as mundane and boring

He is saying that they have no proof that there was trafficking. Why then was Maxwell in prison?

Do you truly believe that the FBI has no proof of trafficking?

And ignore? Why, because you don't like a differing opinion?

She was directly involved in getting girls for Epstein. The only thing provable at this point.
Do you truly believe that the FBI has no proof of trafficking?
I do not know. I feel strongly that others were involved. I mean the letch Clinton surely was checking the oil. I cant prove it.

But read what Kash said. Now he could be lying or not. But what you said was false. You said "Did nobody catch the part where Kash Patel claimed Epstein didn't traffic the girls to anybody?" He said he lacked evidence, not that it did not happen.

Like I said he could be lying.

Nope because you are either obtuse, mendacious or both. I have only been following this site for a few weeks after the on3 merger canceled the site I frequented and put another behind a paywall.

Obviously I have not put you on ignore yet.

I am waiting (probably in vain) to see if you retract your statement. :)

I will retract that I claimed he said that Epstein never trafficked girls... I assumed anyone who watched the video would understand I was being satirical. That said, it sure doesn't seem that he's being completely honest.

Epstein trafficked by arranging for the victims to serve his acquaintances in both the US and foreign locations

10 unnamed sources? Wow is that a record? I do agree that they ran on exposing Epstein's clients and can't or won't do it. Its like a fart that lingers.

BTW I also have a lazy eye.

Schiff is the idiot. He is a moron that could only be elected in Cali or NY. Should I mention that he is bug eyed?

I am lazy and rarely bother checking up on others sources. Especially statistics from some unknown think tanks most of whom lean left.

"Lies, damned lies, and statistics" - supposedly Twain

Rules of thumb:

Liberal = half truth
Leftist = outright lies
Right = does it pass the smell test, if not make sure its not from Alex Jones or other conspiracy nuts.

I am to the right. I have seen one poster from my side who constantly gets historical facts wrong. I am tempted to correct but its akin to policing grammar or spelling.

The clip was short or I probably would not have watched it. I watch youtubes on 2x. They seem to be getting longer and longer much to my disappointment. But you can fit in more commercials for longer vids.

I use the Brave browser and thankfully it blocks them.
