Absolute trash WRs. This game has sealed exactly what our passing game is. Absolutely broken down to its core.
They haven't been in this game since the 1st drive.
Gronowski should have 200+ yards and a few TDs already in this game, UMass is so bad.
Wait.... did we just use a time out correctly at the end of the first half?

I wouldn’t even say he started out hot. The one deep ball he hit was a completion that is made by any 4A or 5A quarterback in high school. Phillips didn’t have anyone within 10 yards of him.
I’ve yet to see him make a “great” throw to get a big chunk of yards. Threading that ball into Gill on this drive is probably his most impressive throw so far this year.
And I had such high hopes when the Budster got the WR job. I was certain the gift from heaven was going to turn the WR room into a formidable force.
This UMass team is embarrassingly bad. Iowa gonna have a tough time this year.

If they don’t beat Rutgers next week, they might not get another win until Minnesota or Michigan State. And both those games are toss ups.
If Iowa wins 5 games this year, I will be impressed.
If Kirk would have had the cajones to go for it on that 4th down umass pr doesn’t score.
I think I would rather wipe my *** with 12 grit sandpaper than watch much more of the Iowa offense.
