Eventually, the sale of alcohol will produce dividends.. just not the kind that I want to invest in. While the administration can try to continue the best fans narrative, the fan's behavior will ultimately become a new normal.. and that result may not be flattering.
I don't drink alcohol but recognize it's widely accepted socially. Out of curiousity, I asked AI what percent/how many fans would be expected to consume alcohol/become legally intoxicated in a football stadium, using the following factors:
11:00 start time, with an earlier tailgate timeline and factors such as game significance, team performance and regional drinking culture:
2:30 start time with same factors including longer tailgate timeline, etc.;
6:30 start time with same factors including much longer tailgate timeline, etc.
The game time/game weather condition also factored in depending on a nice weather day, cool day, warm day, hot day, cool day, cold day and frigid day. It seems the hotter or colder it is, the less consumption there tends to be. My experience is a drunk is a man for all seasons.
Pardon the pun, but the results were staggering.
