Where were they on the field? I thought ESL had a kicker with a big leg this year.
Announcer points out the AWFUL non-fumble that was the difference in the game.
You can't have a punt block returned for a TD in the final minutes of a close game... But there may have been some home cooking. An obvious fumble recovery by the Flyers deep in Bergen territory nullified in the third quarter. A penalty for a pass over the line of scrimmage that looked kind of iffy.
That is the part they controlled, so it is on Flyer to take the L.
Not a bad showing by any means ... they could have won it.

In a one score game its extremely tough to overcome 2 really bad calls that don't go your way. They weren't even that iffy imo.
Meh. Bergen also gave up a special teams td on a bad snap. All around even game probably decided by 2 plays.
Didn't look like East Side came out of the locker room till after half. First game and travel can do that to you. Were sluggish and getting handled up front in the first half. Aside from the things that happened at the end of the game, they looked very good in the second half.
The board posters ARE NOT in mid season form. You guys were terrible. I just read all 3 pages and:

I agree. We needed more blockers in the backfield to protect the kicker. I only saw one back there.
This should be discussed. To me, that is CRAZY - then Tollman started rocking it at the end. Iron sharpens iron.
What was this timeout? I can't see Flyer stopping it and Bergan did not seem to.

I think it was an injury timeout. A flyer was down in the huddle.
The announcers were not on point. Not sure where or how close they were to the field but they were off base on a few things.
Yea they seemed to be remote. Didn't see the BC fumble initially. Also thought MJC made that 3rd down catch when it clearly wasn't close to a completion.
You must have been flying when you did the math.

Oddly enough could be the XP kicking that caused them to lose. Perhaps they get 2/3 of 2pt conversions...
