She retweeted the story.. but also retweeted a Dawn Staley tweet about a player writing her a hand written letter thanking her for recruiting her.. hopefully a rejection letter 😂

Iowa coaches still occasionally like her instagram posts.. and apparently her dad likes Iowa’s culture!
The whole family came last year on their own dime, and it sounded like the whole family loved their experience. I think Iowa is her last visit because she is ours to win or lose. She even made some comments about hoping it goes the way she thinks it will. The whole "family culture" thing is Iowa womens basketball to its very core. Not to mention she'd start at the 3/4 day one, alongside possibly the best lineup (certainly the highest ranked as a group), Iowa's ever had with Deal, Wright, ERod, Heiden/Hays. First week of Sept. she commits to Iowa....

I am 70% no, 30% yes. I don’t believe Iowa is her top choice. Things could change though… and quickly.

What leads you to that conclusion. I'd lean exactly the other way. 70-75% yes for Iowa. Literally everything she has said is important to her is EXACTLY what Iowa is. She an her whole family were here and they loved the culture. We've since added Deal and Hays and they both LOVE the place, their team mates and coaches.

Hawkeye 1984 is probably a closet Debbie/Clown fan… I haven’t heard one positive take from him/her ever…

He isn't a Hawk fan for sure. You are correct, never a positive post for the Hawks. We are going up against a multi-year national champ in South Carolina, the home school in USC and the Buckeyes. It won't be easy to get her to Iowa but I'm optimistic Jan can pull it off. She is the most critical recruit this year to fill the void when Hannah moves on to the WNBA.

I actually think she is Iowa's to lose.
If they knock the visit out of the park I don't see how they don't get a commit that weekend.

Being a top ten recruit, her playing prospects are very good at any school she might choose.
Maybe, but not the same as at Iowa probably. Staley has had some pretty highly ranked recruits who didn't did't get "star run" as young players because of the depth of talent at her disposal. Fulwiley was a huge star coming in to SC and she only started 3 of 77 games there. She averaged 11 points a game for those 2 seasons. (Not the kind of run she'd have gotten at many schools). She ended up transferring to LSU her Jr. season.

Right, I'm sure this team is loaded with 5 and 4 stars.
