Can anyone summarize what was said about Woliczko? For some reason I cannot get this to play.

She is coming to visit during the Albany game. Highest rated recruit for Iowa in the cycle. She and her dad have said it's about a culture fit. Podcast said there is a good chance she comes to Iowa, essentially Iowa vs. South Carolina. 50/50 shot maybe. Can anyone summarize what was said about Woliczko? For some reason I cannot get this to play.
Nobody really knows what McKenna or her family is thinking. I hope she has a great visit over the labor day weekend that puts her over the top to be a Hawk. We are driving 8 1/2 hours from Ohio to watch the Hawks next weekend should be a great weekend as Kirk goes for the tie in wins with Woody.Didn’t like that Chad kinda went 50/50 to dipping Iowa down to 40 at the end. Maybe hedging his bets a little.
Chad is kind of a football homer and not so much for other sports. He has the football team going 5-0 on the road and 10-2 overall which is pretty far fetched IMHO.Didn’t like that Chad kinda went 50/50 to dipping Iowa down to 40 at the end. Maybe hedging his bets a little.
I don't think Jan channeling PJ Fleck is the answer here.Jan will not let her get out of IC without a commitment.
it is Fry days that weekend also. City will be hopping!
Well playedI don't think Jan channeling PJ Fleck is the answer here.
Totally agree. Everyone saw last year's video when Hays came into the locker room wearing the "I'm Home" T-shirt. Jan was totally shocked and got so excited. She strikes me as someone that lays out what Iowa's womens basketball is all about. I think it sales itself. Has to be the right fit for both parties. Bottom line, no hard sale.I don't think Jan channeling PJ Fleck is the answer here.

Be confident and stay positive!Agree
If anything my post was personal wishing of course. I don’t think Jan or the program is any kind of snake oil sales pitch. I’m just confident the Iowa family culture will win out….
Can someone please explain what Iowa culture is?Culture fit (and a family feel) is what matters to the family.
Will it be Iowa or South Carolina? The dad says she might make her college choice right after the visit (maybe on the visit?).
Stuelke out (graduating), Woliczko in?
I like our chances....
Family. When Megan Gus got engaged, she called Jan . Jan is going with her to pick out her wedding dress. She's been gone for 6 years. Lisa always told the girls it was about having fun, and being the best version of themselves. Basketball was secondary inside their circle. Can someone please explain what Iowa culture is?
I don't remember anyone saying we'd get harpringThe same people on this board said we would get Harpring. Where are those same people now? I am not a Hawkeye fan because I said we may not get a recruit. I don’t follow that logic…? I am entitled to my opinion as all of you are on this board. You don’t hear me tearing down any of you for making a prediction. Carry on. We will see where we land on this one as well.
I think your making stuff up. I said I really think we land MW and I gave my reasons. Never once did I think OR say we'd land Harpring...The same people on this board said we would get Harpring. No one said that. It was hope only.I don't remember anyone saying we'd get harpring
You are entitled to your opinion and if you want to be pessimistic that is your prerogative, just don’t expect anyone to like your negative comments. The same people on this board said we would get Harpring. Agreed, we all certainly wanted her but I saw many comments about the main reason she visited Iowa was to see CC's number retired. Certainly she saw a great game against USC.I don't remember anyone saying we'd get harpring
If I recall, no one on the Beacon board actually thought Iowa would land Harpring. They were thankful to be considered and a bit overly optimistic and hopeful. The same people on this board said we would get Harpring. Where are those same people now? Technically, the comments made were opinions presented as assertions or declarations of facts without any supporting evidence.I’m not going to go back and research it but I believe you essentially guaranteed that Harpring would not choose Iowa; that the probability of a commitment was zero - not as “we may not get a recruit”.
Further, my recollection is you made this point repeatedly and in a manner that could easily be interpreted as arrogant. It was more than a simple prediction.
His wife Claire might help too, given she is a former Iowa Women’s BB playerNo doubt, George is a diehard Hawk. He has brought a lot of visability to TEU.
I doubt George knew who the young man was.
Glad you thought it was humorous. The previous two posters said Claire could help also. The reason I mentioned that is it is against the rules to provide recruits or their family any gratuities, although today I think most rules have gone out the window. It's even more funny that you thought you needed to inform us of that.
