I'd wait and come back against the Mystics, even though the Wings are one of the worst-coached professional sports teams in this country.

Don't need anymore fuel to the CC vs Paige fire, either.

Check out the Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards' response.

Ouch.

My god don’t say that out loud. I think after it’s long slumber, AIRBHG has acquired a taste for fever point guards and you just taunted it.

There sure seems to be a lot more injuries this season than last, all across the WNBA.

From a quick Google/AI search:

Yes, there have been more reported injuries in the WNBA this season compared to the last two seasons. Data through the first quarter of the 2025 season indicates 105 individual injuries, compared to 203 in 2024 and 175 in 2023 (my 2 cents: guessing these are full season totals for 2024 and 2023).

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  • Increased Injury Count:
The 105 injuries reported this season mark a significant increase compared to the totals from the previous two seasons.
  • Impact on Teams:
Many teams are dealing with multiple injuries to key players, impacting their performance and standings.
  • Potential Factors:
Some analysts suggest the increased number of games played within a shorter timeframe might be contributing to the higher injury rate.
  • Specific Examples:
Players like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Kayla Thornton, and Ryan Howard have all missed time due to injuries this season, according to a YouTube video.
  • Recovery:
While some players are returning from injuries, like Cameron Brink after recovering from a torn ACL, the overall injury situation is impacting teams.

You gotta love it. " my 2 cents:" ;)

I like it. Shes a pretty good player. Last year when she was with Dallas, she played against CC22 and she had 24 pts and 9 assists. That was the game CC22 had 24 pts AND an NBA record 19 assists! Sims was VERY high on Clark and said she was amazing, and one of the great players already. She's not hater, thats for sure.

She's a good player, for sure....but is also a head case. Hopefully she can keep it together until CC returns.

This is an ideal stretch for the Fever. Ideally you’d like to have a PG healthy. But this 4 game stretch is the most manageable of the season.

gotta win these games and then see if CC ks healthy and how they stack up against the best teams.

The Fever look like crap in the first quarter. They had a couple games like this last season. A bottom team comes to Indy for what should be an easy Fever win, but they get whooped instead.

Wings now have 19 points off Fever turnovers. That is unreal bad. That's bad for an entire game. This is just the first 15 minutes. They are literally throwing the game away.

Pretty crazy to me how quick of a whistle Bueckers gets compared to cc, especially with how little contact it takes. and the entire fever team requires being punched in the face apparently to get any call.

Great comeback late in the half. They stopped turning it over, which surprisingly helps a lot. Sophie made a couple very tough shots down the stretch.
