See you a little after 12 Buzz. I am wearing Navy Blue even though kids are wearing white. Figured majority of older fans will wear Navy. Many do not even see message boards or tweets. They will know who we are pulling for. Go Bears.
Navy for me although the white might be a good omen. No losses wearing white this year.

Did you guys notice if you went a particular East Wilkes lineman? My brother was up in North Wilkesboro visiting his daughter and saw Dave Doran at a local restaurant apparently there recruiting a kid at EW believe he said a 3 star lineman.

At the state championships in 2@ at Wake I sat close to several of the NC State coaches. The Sarratt brothers were playing for East Lincoln. I wouldn't be surprised if a few assistant coaches are at the game.
He was visiting Wilkes Central’s Kamen Smith, a 2023 NC State OL commit.
That was my mistake my brother did say Wilkes Central and the kids name I just missed heard which school I don't know why. His daughter lives and teaches elementary school up there and he was taking his grandkids to a local restaurant and was just surprised to see Doran there when they walk in and I assume his son in law told him because he knows the young man's mom.

Simmons has Mount airy by 10. And that is his largest predicted margin of victory of the four title games. Can't remember the last time he picked us to lose by double digits. Definitely the underdogs
Sometimes people need to cut off the analytics and turn on the film. Anyone picking either team by more than a point or two would be crazy. This game is going to come down to the fourth quarter. I believe both coaches have said it best, it’s going to come down to the trenches. I know that is always what people say, but it is so true for this game. Good luck to Tarboro and MA tomorrow! May we all be blessed with a great game and both teams leave with no major injuries.
Special teams are important at this level.
What a great opportunity Tarboro has to play against a team of this caliber this weekend. I can’t wait to see it tomorrow!

I don’t hate Tarboro. I like them and respect them.
I was not referring to all of the east but mainly the ones they play and beat every year.
Nice post MAGBfan. Turnovers, penalties and special teams will be critical. The interesting part is I’m not sure either team has needed to be that good in these phases this year in order to win. They better be tomorrow though.
MA was definitely tested by ER!!! OL dominated the 4th quarter but, in fairness, ER lost a key player on both sides of the ball. I think that game enabled us to realize that we are more physically and mentally prepared than last year.
Just read newspaper article that said Tarboro had appealed suspensions with NCHSAA and they were accepted and all involved will play. All ik for MA are two Starting linemen. One been out since south Stokes game other got hurt Friday night and plays both ways. Next man up no excuses.
That is not true. They haven’t heard from the appeal. I heard they might not hear until tomorrow morning. But like you said, it doesn’t matter. Next man up.

Yes. He was cleared earlier in the week. The state called later in the week and suspended two other players.
