MA #5 Tyler Mason was offered ride to App State. Congrats I'm sure more to come. Herd VT also talked to him. He has another year so who knows.
App is a big time offer! They like to run the ball as a main part of their game. Congrats to Tyler.
Is Mason a junior? Appalachian is loaded with running backs unless some hit the portal.
Per one of the coaches, nothing will be sent in against Tarboro but it will be sent in against #33 from Rosewood
So if nothing has changed everyone will be full go Saturday

And MA is Mount Airy. But smart people know what MA and TArb means. Some of you guys are jerks and just stupid.
Not a talent gap, I think talent wise it’s a great matchup. I think the lethal Tarboro T is actually a great matchup for this Bears defense. I think it’s gonna be a good one. I am gonna be paying close attention to those battles upfront on Saturday. I truly believe this is where this game will be won or lost
I’ve watched film. MA gives their plays away going to #5 every time he gets the ball. Guards pull hard, do they block well? Absolutely. But the defense is very well coached for that, they will swarm him like bees, along with their QB and that option they do. Mt Airys defense is very stout as well, I’m ready to see what this young Tarboro offense does Saturday. Tarboro by 10.
Dont think #5 is only rb or playmakers MA has. #21 will have a big day at WR. MA dosent do alot of misdirection stuff they usually say here we come right at you stop it. Dont forget #3. #25 will run over you. #4 Freshman RB may wind up being better than #5 by the time he is a SR.
Didn’t mean he’s the only one. But the film I’ve watched, he’s mainly the big play guy. His speed in incredible. Wanna talk about underclassmen this year? Tarboro has a freshman and sophomore that have rushed for more than 1,000 yards. Freshman has more touchdowns by a freshman since the maxpreps era begun. Also have other factors on that offense that are huge for Tarboro. It’ll be a great game. MA has football players, good ones, Tarboro has football players and pure athletes. Saturday will be here before you know it. Go Vikings!

I just scrolled to Friday and Saturday on MY40 on YouTube TV and it's schedule is showing that they're broadcasting all 4 championship games.

Chris “the guru” Hughes picked Mount Airy on the Charlotte Observer talking Preps show.
He said Mount Airy was the more talented team and says he thinks the score will be a reversal of the last time the two teams played. He mentioned the 2019 East Surry game vs Tarboro and to me it seemed like he was insinuating that was going to happen again.

I don’t see how you can disrespect Tarboro”s football program with as many titles as they have won and championships appearances they have made. I will say the Bears will try to take away that earned swagger quickly.

Tarboro is the favorite and will be hard to knock them off the mountain. Tons of experience just being in this game
Based on everything I've seen, Tarboro is the underdog.
Just a gentle reminder, neither team gets any points on the scoreboard until the game starts. The rest is just noise.

MA will have an uphill battle and I (like many of you) firmly believe that whoever wins the battle on the OL & DL will win this game. Is #75 for MA playing? Good luck to both teams! DAAA BEARS!!!!
After watching the interview Chris seemed like the only one who picked the bears. Saying he felt as if they were gonna beat Tarboro like east Surry did in 19 kinda surprised me.
Im sure it is surprising when you're used to winning every year lol
