Just to be clear, I do not think CPC4LIFE is a regular Mt Airy fan. No Granite Bear Fan I know would dare pick them to win it all. Much less state that on this site. No Siree.
In fact, Mt Airy is such a NONE Athletic team we might not even get to the second round of the playoffs.
Mount Airy is my pick to make it out of the west they won't beat Tarboro though
Think Ma will struggle with teams like North Rowan or E Randolph. They have more speed than MA.
MA will not struggle with N.Rowan. MA's lines are very physical...and their backs compliment them very nicely.
Time will tell. I do think those are fun matchups for the Bears. I do agree with print, Bears are very physical up front with a little bit of speed to go along with it. Looking forward to seeing North Rowan in the granite city in a couple weeks

It will take a well oiled passing machine of a team to knock off Tarboro. There are no 2019 East Surry's in 1a..but Tarboro looked waaay out of sorts trying to defend that offense for 4 qtrs. Every year that I have seen a run based team play Tarboro in the ship....it hasn't faired well for the other team as far as keeping them off balance. 2019 East Surry did just that.
Lots of good possible matchups on Andrew’s side of the bracket. A thomasville Andrew’s match up would be fun. A Draughn vs Andrew’s would be fun. That swain county / thomasville 2nd round game would be fun. Thomasville and Draughn as well. Gonna be a fun one in the west
Teams like 2019 East Surry are true unicorns. It’s so rare to get a quarterback as good as Jefferson Boaz at the 1A level. The offense East Surry played against Tarboro in 2019 is not one that Trent Lowman would typically run at East Surry. They didn’t play that style in 2018 or in 20-21. Great job by the coach to put in a style of offense that suited his personnel that season. That said, the team that Tarboro struggles against most often is one with a strong run defense and a mobile quarterback that can pass when needed.
NR is not good upfront. They do have some grass burners and the tall WR is a threat. MA wins it big like Tville did over NR. MA is good until the ER game, that will be the test and ofcourse the team awaiting them on the other side to get to the championship game.
Draughn throw pretty good in the own right......no one's stop it QB......27Td's 3 ints. no sacs.and about 18,000 yards fair statics

My opionion........it Mt. Airy,Andrews,E Randophf and Draughn.......then Thomasville Murphy,Mitchell and Robbinsville......my top 8 in that order
A team that can load the box and make MA throw will beat them. Its how East Surry beat them.
