I understand the conference argument, but you contradicted it when you brought up Whiteville. They were awesome, yet they held the ball longer than us too. And their defense came in averaging 8ppg. For the most part, our offense made quick work of them too. They were the ones with longer drives. Same with 9-4 Northern Nash and 9-3 North Edgecombe. So I wouldnt necessarily agree that not winning the TOP was due to the competition in our conference, because it was the same way during the better non conference portion, and continued thru the playoffs so far. However, it might be a good idea to try to keep NE off the field. But then again, idk, because I think we will just have to try to outscore them, not stop them.
