I will be at a CHS game either this week or next week. I will absolutely post any updates I want to post on this public forum and I will absolutely post any footage I may record on any of my social media platforms. Who do these guys think they are with these demands of the very people who support the program? I don't recall ever seeing any signs at games stating no pics/video allowed. I'd like to know what it is they feel they can do to DH34, Wiz, DH04, etc. if they post opinions/videos of the team on their social media and on this public forum. You guys are crazy if you stop posting your opinions of the team's performance. Football is huge in this community and it is arrogant and asinine for this new staff to come in and attempt to issue a gag order on the people who support the program. Maybe they should focus more on the profanity filled tirades at practice that are already spreading around the community. Maybe this is why the practices are closed.
Agreed @GoHorses15 im not going to stop doing what im doing up here dont think i ever heard a coach in the post game interview blame something on NCpreps or some video on facebook being the reason they lost a game.......i wont post any game vids on the fan page thou dont want em to report it and get it shut down....that page was made for everybody especially the kids
Just feel coaching staff should be more worried about whats happening on the field and not whats going on the internet......Im done speaking on it thou...its football season no more negativity positive vibes only and hopefully a week 1 victory.....

What is the reason to delete? Fans of a team discussing the new "policies" put in place by the new coaching staff. People aren't allowed to have a discussion back and forth if they don't necessarily share the same opinion of the coaching staff? My post wasn't intended to be negative toward the team. I only mentioned that I don't believe their "policies" are logical or enforceable. My comment about the profanity at practice is the only thing that could be viewed as negative, but it is the absolute truth.
If this is true, wow LOL have things changed at Clinton High School. The coach is totally unprofessional. At the end of the day HSFB is about building young men, not winning at all cost. Profanity filled tirades, Clinton turning into Last Chance U. And this guy is worried about schemes and injuries on a public forum. SMH
Because aside from your post, it’s all negative, from Clinton and non-Clinton supporters. Idk anything about cussing tirades at practice, although when I was in school if you won’t being cussed at you won’t being coached. Kids nowadays run to there mommies with every hint of negativity towards them. Not saying it is all okay, but geez it’s football. It’s a mans game. In the words of the former Coastal Carolina coach “we need more dogs, not cats” if you catch me. I’ve met coach Johnson several times, and this dude loves football, loves his kids, and is all about the community. Does he want his own posters talking about his potentially injured players which get to the next opponent and then they aim to hit that guy in the ankle or shoulder when they found out through online gossip that said player may be injured. That’s all I’m sure was the issue 04 was asked to relay but I don’t know him personally just it’s just speculation but give coach a chance. Just my 2 cents. Everyone on here knows you are affiliated with the coaching staff and obviously you are going to stick up for the new coach. I agree with the stance of not making a big deal about injured players, but the censorship of posting video highlights on social media is ridiculous. I hope Coach Johnson is very successful with the program and helps these guys develop as players, as well as men. I just know that Coach Lewis was successful during recent years and from what I know about my kid's time there, he did it without profanity and bullying players. We can agree to disagree since we are both hoping for the same outcome...a successful CHS football season.
I don’t even live in clinton, just have met him and until now only had heard good things about his energy and care for his players. You have only been a member since 2015 with only 15 posts, yet I’ve been on since 2002 this coaching staff was still in high school then most of them but yeah I’m an affiliate, But you know all man. Top secret formations or plays are only that for ONE TIME. If a player goes off holding a arm, limping where does he get hit next time in ? Hope Clinton keeps playing SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL along with the rest of the ECC. Hope we can smash our way back in next realignment.

SWO-#1, I do wish yall were back in the league, the old ECC, I won't say who we'd replace for you guys but it seems like a natural formation. Oh what a league. Playoffs wouldn't be anything after going through that league! or at least that the way it use to be and now with WRH and JK in it. Super Bowl every Friday night!
In the 80's WRH was in the ECC with SWO,Clinton,East Duplin,JK. I think sports illustrated had conference ranked nationally.
2001 ...SWO, ED, AND RICHLANDS ended the season TIED for 1st place in the conference. Then only two teams went to the playoffs. Richlands beat ED, SWO beat Richlands and in the last conference game ED beat SWO. Had a drawing of the straws right after the game. SWO had just won the 2A title the year before. We drew the short straw. Richlands took first, ED second and SWO SAT HOME .....
Remember that like it was yesterday. Hard way to go out. That ED team was serious. Powell was a game changer
That year ED went to the Eastern Finals @ Clinton. I sat on the ED side and ED fans around me would not even talk to me.
guess they didnt like the SWO hat I was wearing.It was a good game to right before the half. Dark Horses layed it on em. I left in the 3rd qtr.
2001 Clinton won the state championship,. think they were in the ECC I know they lost to SWO in 2000.
Wiz in 2001 we were in the Tri-6 conf with West Bladen,South Rob,Red Springs,St Pauls etc
And in 2000 we beat SWO 7-0 in regular season but we lost in triple overtime to Western Alamance in 3rd round......it would of been Clinton and SWO in the eastern title game....SWO went on to win State

We played WA for the Eastern championship that year. Beat them in OT at their house. We had a WR, tall kid who could not catch a cold all year. WA had a short DB on him who climbed up his back on a high pass and was called for interference in the end zone. Next play the ball was thrown high again but MIRACLE HAPPENED. He went up and caught it
Remember that classic in 2005....Overtime my boy Brian Williams went up caught pass over Dakota Marshall.....that was a classic game

What a game SWO #1. SWO was huge underdogs going into that game. That was a special SWO team that year. Pollock was a beast.
Your right Greene Central wasn't in our conference they were just a playoff opponent that year....it was the Tri-6 conf...3 countys 6 teams Clinton,Red Springs,Fairmont,West Bladen,South Robeson,and St. Pauls
