Don't laugh, but I thought Jack White did an incredible job in a supporting role. I voted for him.
Gents....the ONLY sweeter thing I can say would be seeing this butt whoopin live would be doing it to Carowina..GO DUKE!

We have such well-defined roles for a freshman super-team. The pieces just fit together so nicely and everyone passes the ball. It all starts with Zion IMO. He is the biggest thing in sports right now yet he has zero ego and gives max effort. That rubs off on Barrett and Cam. We are the Duke Zions.
Voted RJ, he is so smooth out there but let’s be honest anyone could have gotten the game ball. One thing I loved seeing.. Bolden looks so much better and so much more confident! If he keeps this up, huge huge boost to this team!
Jack did a HELL of a job..very solid!!
I went with Zion. Points, rebounds, assists, blocks. Steals.....what a complete game
I went with Barrett because he broke their will early and we freasted after he made is presence felt, yo!
I just can't believe the chemistry this team has. Particularly Zion and RJ. There is no selfishness between those two at all. When one throws it down, the other reacts as if they were the one who did it. They act like they've been playing together for years.

I went Cam. When the game was competitive (for like 6 minutes) Cam was amazing during that stretch. Also, his free throws are a thing of beauty.
Jack lead the team in rebounds. Was always in the thick of play. Very vocal communicator on the court. I would have chosen Bolden second.
I choose the team. Mega team effort and SO many great plays from SO many different players, HELL, look at those beautiful corner 3 net burners Alex was dicing up. Bolden played great, Tre was fantastic with the rock, Jack was a MAN on the boards, it was just way to good to call out a single player. If you hold me to the fire. RJ is the motor that drives this vehicle. He is a man. He's not going to be denied.
I went with Zion. But it could have been the TEAM with the gameball.

I went wit RJ. He broke their will when Zion went to the bench with 2 fouls. Coach K should get it it for getting those recruits

I would have went 'team' if that was an option, but there are no bad choices in this one. After much debate, my vote goes to RJ, but it could just as easily have been Zion, Jack, or...

RJ. He’s been firmly established as the alpha dog of this pack.
That is exactly what I was about to type in regards to my vote for him. This team is great, but I don't think there is any question who the alpha is. He has that Mamba Mentality for sure. He is a killer.
dukehokie and I were talking on the phone this morning about RJ's face before the game. The kid goes into a I WILL WIN trance and it's all over his face. RJ is easily the most important piece of our puzzle, although we have some amazing pieces to go along. The friendship, bond, gel he and Zion have now is going to be an amazing thing to behold this season. We as Duke fans, are blessed beyond imagination with this group.

3 things that stick out to me after the game
1) so many people talked like we didn’t have enough shooters and would struggle from 3 point range but we shot 12-26 for 46.2%
2) so many people said we’d struggle with rebounding but we outrebounded Kentucky 38-33
3) people said we’d struggle with free throw shooting but we shot 20-29 for 69% from the free throw line (not great but still respectable)

That’s the one. It’s the same face he had on the bench during introductions.
I wanted to save this for the podcast, but he has that ability that some of the greats have to go to another place. He can mentally disconnect and just raise his level of focus beyond what is normal. The dude is flat out amazing. Pre game you could just tell RJ was coming for blood.
