There would be potential i it was actually a problem at Duke with ball movement. Duke’s offense, especially ball movement, hasn’t been an issue. Averaging over 83 ppg since 2011 will speak to that. We ***** and moan about lack of point guards, but scoring isn’t our problem. If in that interview, Grayson said “I’m looking forward to actually learning how to play defense, because that cost us big time in 3 of my 4 four seasons,” I’d actually agree.
But as an observer, it seems more likely that he’s speaking about the isolation style of the NBA vs. the ball movement teams.
I get what you and
@Mac9192 are trying to do. And you both are right, K and Duke make mistakes, plenty of them. I don’t think anyone being optimistic disagrees with that.
But I also think posts like the ones you guys made on here are more of you trying to push that agenda moreso than just allowing for positive discourse. Of course if you start calling people out for blind homerism it’s going to cause a ruckus, and vice versa. I think all of us need to take one step back and just chill and treat each other a little better in this board. That will go a long way in how easy it becomes to communicate on here. We actually have some typically good discussions, then it usually takes about 15 posts before they get ugly.
Let’s just be cool about this stuff.
