Haha great to see how comfortable they all seem together. I wonder if we should be worried about Tre not reviving people in fortnight? Is that the kind of teammate we want at Duke :) #stoppickingoncam

Thank God Hof coach Roy Williams was able to clear him in a six hour period after he was mentioned in the FBI probe

Topps thats one slick country bumpkin isnt it???!! He really paints that dumb country boy image with the down home "dadgum" and "doggone" references in his conversation. We know how devious and sneaky the real genuine article is though.

Check out the thread on THR regarding this game. By the 2nd or 3rd page, they're raging and seething over ESPN spending more time before, during, and after the game talking about Duke's players instead of Little. It's like let's think about this logically. ONE team has the top three ranked players from the class and they're all in the game. Should we instead pick players that are in double digit rankings and talk about them instead?

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter which school had the #1-3 players in their recruiting class, they would be talked about. It has nothing to do with it being Duke or a shot at UNC.
RR has been the same way

I'll admit I struggles LOL he should be good for y'all. That coolio hair though

I'm already seeing the sideshow bob comparisons from you guys haha.

In all seriousness, Nas is exactly what Carolina needs right now. Him and Coby are playmakers and can create their own shots. That's not something the rest of the team has.

What does he have a lot in common with the current guys at UNC?

He’s a dirty player. He will fit in perfectly at UNC. I hope Zion does a teabag posterizing of Little at Chapel Hill next year if Little has the balls to try and take a charge with Zion coming at him full tilt.

Totally agree. I think Little will be great for you guys and he's definitely going to run the show. But he seems cocky as hell and might even approach scumbag territory by next year. Pride comes before the fall and he sure has a lot of pride.

How is he a dirty player? I'm genuinely confused lol. Even as a Duke fan, I don't see how you can say UNC has dirty players - who was one on their roster this past year?

Berry constantly lead with his elbows every time he drove. You also can look at his forearm shiver on the ACC tournament but that is just him having the dog mentality.Unc is historically one of the most physical teams in college basketball. They constantly shove and go over people’s back on practically every offensive rebound.

I was at the game so didn’t get to hear any of the commentary or analysis but I found Nassir extremely hateable. Not sure if this came across on TV or not but as soon as Zion got the ball in the middle of the second half the entire arena stood up and started cheering to see him take it to the rim. Nassir decides to play way harder defense than anything else I saw the entire game, mugs him, doesn’t get called for it, then Zion goes out with a thumb injury. Has anyone heard any updates on his prognosis?
If they are wearing wussie blue, then they’re hateable.

Because i'm being objective and not riding Marques Bolden like he's the next Sheldon Williams and don't think he's very good?
No because all of your career posts seem to take a sneaky shot at Duke in some way. That along with you questioning anything negative said about UNCheat. Go root for Jalek Felton.

Hey guys....everyone say hello (and goodbye) to our buddy JBSmoove. He's back!

He's the student at Elon who last month pretended to be a Duke student and fan. In this addition, he's playing just a Duke fan, and an objective one at that.

How dare you post personal information like that!?!

RJ is on ESPN2 around 5ish today. It is the semis of the national tournament.
Yesterday he had 33 with a lot of slashing, dunks and foul shots from what I saw. He did miss a couple big free throws down the stretch, but that happens.
His team won, because of a Chris Webber type play. The opposing team couldn't inbound the ball and called the time out that they didn't have (felt bad for the kid), which gave Mountverde two foul shots and the ball to secure the win. It really was an entertaining game.

I watched the whole game, RJ is incredible.
My way too early projection of RJ's game: He is a wing-type player that we haven't really had before. His offensive game seems very similar to Jayson Tatum's: by that I mean, no one can guard him one-on-one, and he can get into the lane at will. RJ is obviously shorter, but I think he will shoot a bit better than Jayson did from 3 in college. (Which is funny, because Jayson may set the ALL-TIME rookie record for 3 pt % in the NBA this year.)

RJ seems to play with a lot of intensity on the defensive end. Not that Jayson was a bad defender (by March, he was actually the 2017 team's best defender) but it was obvious that defense came second to Jayson, he wanted to score. I don't get the same vibe from RJ. RJ seems like a guy who WANTS to shut down a Kyle Guy, Jerome Robinson, etc.

I see some Michael Jordan in RJ's game. I know that's a tired comparison and of course no one is as good as MJ, but that's what I see.

He does realize we can see what he posts on THR as well right...don’t need to be a mod to see that.

Yea I agree with you on this. He definitely has that edge about him that you don’t typically see from a lot of college players.

I think super motivated is a better description. Being that we root for the opposite schools of one another, we are going to see it differently haha.

But I liked his intensity during the McD’s game, and there’s no way his play on Zion was malicious. Those two are friends.

I just think Nas is intense, nothing to suggest he’s a crappy person.

Little will be a solid player by the time he is a Junior. Hell, by then, Roy might slide him into the starting rotation.

Not say he is dirty or his play on Zion was dirty. I am sure I would love the kid if I were a UNC fan, and I thought his intensity was great too. But he's a showboat, so he is easy to dislike. You guys would hate him too if he came to Duke. But maybe he will prove me wrong and he'll suck and get stuck on the bench and won't be able to point to himself every time he scores. Roy does love to reign in those freshmen

Topps on target my friend. The elbow to Kyle Guy by Berry in the ACC Tourney was awful, and should have been whistled by the baseline official! OFC

What I like about RJ is his willingness to bring intensity and that fire in his willingness to complete in big games as well as taking on challenges like the other teans best player.

All good points.

As for Roy and freshman, it’s not as uncommon as you might think for him to start one. Freshman who have started under his tenure: Tyler Hansbrough, Bobby Frasor, Marcus Ginyard, Brandan Wright, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington, John Henson, Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall, Marcus Paige, Nate Britt, Kennedy Meeks, and Justin Jackson.

So if Nas is good enough, he will earn the job. We all know he is, and I firmly believe he will.

Little will be a OAD. Not a fan of the kid but dude can straight out ball. Think he has as good of a chance as anyone else of being 1st or 2nd team All-ACC, as long as the guys that are expected to go pro do so. Think both Duke and UVA players are likely to have multiple players splitting votes between themselves and Little will get all UNC or supporters of their program’s votes.

RJ could. Tatum is a better 3pt shooter and slightly taller and stronger. RJ said in an interview that he is really focused on getting stronger and would like to get to college at 205 plus.

Zion dropped 20lbs and I would imagine his playing weight will be 245-250. He's not the shooter Tatum is or as tall but he might play the same role.

I am really excited about our class! However I think its going to take one of our returning players (at least) to bring a sense of veteran leadership to next year's team. Dont get me wrong the bonding the 4 freshman got to experience at Mickey D's week is invaluable, but we had Grayson this year to help get us within a cruel missed shot of reaching the final four.

I think we have several candidates (although not as many points returning like Grayson), but I like the motor and work ethic of a Javin DeLaurier (jr next yr) to be that guy a group can respect and rally around.Dont overlook Ques either, he played some of his best ball in Bagley's absence. He will likewise as Jav be a junior. Jack White,Vrank and Justin Robinson are others along w/AOC who can help our young guys in things like what to expect from the Duke experience, the trappings of postseason play, etc.

I hope our freshmen will embrace the experience our upperclassmen have journeyed thru, and look to them for guidance and leadership. All of this will spell much better chemistry, because youth albeit talented is still youth.
