I am really excited about our class! However I think its going to take one of our returning players (at least) to bring a sense of veteran leadership to next year's team. Dont get me wrong the bonding the 4 freshman got to experience at Mickey D's week is invaluable, but we had Grayson this year to help get us within a cruel missed shot of reaching the final four.

I think we have several candidates (although not as many points returning like Grayson), but I like the motor and work ethic of a Javin DeLaurier (jr next yr) to be that guy a group can respect and rally around.Dont overlook Ques either, he played some of his best ball in Bagley's absence. He will likewise as Jav be a junior. Jack White,Vrank and Justin Robinson are others along w/AOC who can help our young guys in things like what to expect from the Duke experience, the trappings of postseason play, etc.

I hope our freshmen will embrace the experience our upperclassmen have journeyed thru, and look to them for guidance and leadership. All of this will spell much better chemistry, because youth albeit talented is still youth.

Perimeter defense will be a plus for us next year. Hopefully Marques can keep doing a good job protecting the basket. On offense we will have plenty mismatches to exploit every game. Cam is a 6'8 playmaking shooting guard. RJ is a 6'7 scorer. Zion is a 6'5 big-bodied, super athlete. If he can give us what Draymond gives the Warriors then we're in good shape

I think where this year's class and next year's differ is none of this year's Frosh were really vocal leader type guys whereas next year both Tre and RJ are.

Hopefully Bolden, Jav & Jack (and Vrank) all become leaders by example

I heard Gary Trent was kind of vocal but that doesn’t do much being that he was the “last option” on offense. I put Tre above him only because he was the point guard. The people that needed to be the most vocal was Trevon and Marvin.
