Okay but when does Zion have to sign by. Makes me nervous that he has yet to sign. He is only committed while the others have signed their LOIs.

The funny thing is, he never has to sign if he doesn’t want. Haha.

That Zion dunk that he tried and missed in the final round of slam dunk finals was filthy. He won that going away with dead legs according to him.
Like J Will was saying, I'd like to see people lower the rim to 7' and try doing what he was doing. If he had got the one down he missed....oh my!

Me too!! My goodness! After watching Zion and Cam I’m kind of over the game yesterday and find myself saying Damn! Is it November yet?!
162 games of baseball and the post season away from Duke basketball. I don’t watch or follow baseball anymore but I use it to gauge how far away from Duke basketball we are. All star game is like halftime of the offseason.

That is true! I’m a big Reds fan, so I have nothing to look forward to until football season! Ha! Wish my Reds could be at least competitive in the NL Central.

Biancardi: Top 3 pucks fro this group would be Cam, RJ, and Zion. Tre Jones as the best defensive PG in this class. Sounds great to me.

Not that it really matters but when do the final player rankings come out and is there any chance that Trent moves up any higher in the rankings?

Is it just me but the McDonalds game is so frustrating because the announcers rarely do a play by play of the action. They could at least acknowledge who makes the shot

Me too dukerules....it’s been a loooooong time for our Reds.
I’m trying to remain optimistic like I always do, QC but I’m afraid it will quickly fade. Looking forward to opening day against the Nats though. Opening day as a Reds fan is a lot of fun!

My son and I were actually in the Great American Ballpark when we last clinched the division vs Dodgers a few years ago. It was amazing.
I was watching that on TV and remember being ecstatic! Man I was on cloud 9 the next day. Great American Ballpark is a fantastic ball park. I love it!

I would be more worried about Dotson or Garland potentially passing him in the rankings if he can’t get healthy for the McDonalds or Jordan AA games. Sounds like both are playing really well during scrimmages. Think Jones has a big enough lead on both going into the events to hold them off but it would definitely help if Tre could play at full speed for at least one of these games.

Lol right.
Dusty had the Reds in two playoff appearances, one of those he was sick for a while I remember and then lost in the wild card game back in 2013 against the pirates, and then he was fired after that, which I’ll never understand. They have had absolutely no success under Price!

This here makes me happy. Knowing how close they are is HUGE! If they can develop great chemistry which it sounds like they have it could mean big things. As for Zions size seeing him and meeting him I really have no doubt in the 6'7. He's at least closer to that than 6'5 if it even matters

Good stuff Pisg!

Thanks for sharing that. I love reading about how much our guys like each other. But that was a totally different perspective on Reddish than the ESPN insider piece I read this morning which stated that while Reddish has the highest pure talent level of everyone, he was struggling to shoot all week, would hang his head, and lose confidence, giving some teams pause about mental makeup. Hopefully we see the Reddish as reported by DBR

Just read on Zags Blog that the other 4 incoming FR are recruiting Montgomery hard. Talking about being their version of the Fab Five.
Here's the link if anyone else wants to read.

Here's a quote from Reddish that I don't like seeing.. “We’d be basically untouchable if he came.” It reminds me of Wendell saying this year "we shouldn't lose a game". These guys don't need to come in with the attitude that they can't lose.

Lots of high schoolers make comments like that. Mostly good reports on our guys. Love the comments on the D of RJ and Tre, the comraderie, Zions freakish athleticism even compared to other freak athletes, Tre's communication skills, Zion's ball skills, and Cam's skill level.

Very excited about the camaraderie described, can't help but draw parallels to similar things being said prior the season for Justise, Tyus, and Okafor...

One example of many from Justise in November 2014, "“We already had that chemistry from playing together before and now we’re looking to use that bond and build upon it with the rest of the team. We really enjoy playing with each other and we can’t wait for the season to start.” (link)

For 3s we will have Cam, Tre, Alex, and maybe RJ. This year we had Grayson and Gary going in. Both were inconsistent but were capable of more. If they gave us a little more, we are in FF. If they gave us what they were capable of, we would have been prohibitive favorites to win it all. In 15, who did we have? Maybe/hopefully Quinn. Tyus was supposed to be a slightly bigger maybe, but a possibility. Justice was a probably not/doubtful. Well, all 3 exceeded most expectations, especially when it mattered most. If one of RJ/Zion can hit from 3 like Justice wound up doing by the end of the year that certainly would help!

Isn't it kinda funny we have all these posters here saying I wish we had got this guy, I wish we had gone after him, but half of the same posters say we get to many one and dones. I'll just stay quiet to all the folks saying we cant have success with one and dones. This group of kids coming in now, they aren't just talking. They are on a mission. Hands DOWN the most athleticism K has ever landed in one crop. I'm not gonna let a few Debbie Downers ruin the fun and the ride. This....is gonna be fun.

By far the most versatile. We have 4 players that can initiate the offense. If Zion can play like Draymond, we should be in great shape

Wendell was right... We shouldn't have lost a game this year if we stayed focus and played up to our ability for 40 minutes a night
