President is not a very good qb. We were completely helpless as an offense with him playing. But we are in the same spot now anyway! Maybe his running ability can help in some fashion.

Stats for the 5 complete games he played. He produces 232 yards per game and about 10 points. Tulsa's defense allows only 28.5 points a game. He doesn't turn the ball over either. He was benched in the Tulane game, but that was a defensive issue for that game.
Skipper came in and threw for 253 yards vs Tulane. Skipper than threw for 128 vs Houston, 259 vs UConn, 212 vs SMU, 157 vs Memphis, 119 vs USF (President threw for 72 on 8 completions vs 6 for Skipper). Skipper didn't play vs Temple. President went 4/13 for 40 yards 1td/0int he ran for 35 and Brewer turned in a monster game at 255 yards.
President was responsible for a TD in every complete game he played in. He also has several from spot plays.
Skipper had at least one interception in every complete game he played in except for Central Arkansas a trend continued by Boomer. Skipper also didn't throw an interception in the Tulane and USF games where he didn't play the entire game.
With our improved defense and Chad's ball security, he may be the best option to win. His completion percentage is low (57.5%) but he averages 11+ yards per completion, probably enough to keep defenses semi honest. I also recall several drops, which have also continued and probably will, from our receivers. Another loss means we are out of a bowl. I like Boomer, he's got Moxy, but a steady hand may be better here. I would see what we can do with President an entire game. I doubt he puts our defense in bad positions because of turnovers. That's a positive right there.
