So true. To find THE reason for most business decisions (especially those framed by a merger), just follow the money. Some of the funniest business articles I've ever read were back in the 80's about how the merging of Bristol Myers and Squibb would not cause job losses at Squibb lol. Two years later one could still read about the "not happening" layoffs somehow continuing.

Oh, well....we'll see if the history returns at see some point, I guess.

The Stock and Investment Talk thread is even older (June 2020) and more heavily trafficked. It has 1M views and 37K replies although not nearly as useful as the One Word thread.
