Stop being a drama queen and enjoy the extra golf. More is supposed to be good. I’ve been watching both all afternoon. Haven’t seen Trump once but it’s nice to see the course with a pro event.
The course is beautiful. Played the old course a few years ago. This is not extra golf since Rocket Mortgage is on. Maybe they play Tuesday to Thursday or after the FedEx cup, would be extra golf.

Huh? Have you been paying attention???
It's the PGA thar has no plans to work with them. Their commissioner is going scorched earth approach. That **** never works in business
It’s you that‘s not paying attention. Are you telling me that LIV wasn’t trying to create a super league? PGA is doing what they need to to survive. Otherwise, it would be the next Kornferry or development league for LIV.

I'm guessing with all the bad publicity, no network will touch it.

A buddy who is a member of Trump Philly went up with some friends. Said it was just weird vibe. At times it's more professional wrestling production than actual golf production, but LIV seems to be banking on people gravitating to the loud music/pyrotechnics style of professional golf.

Said it wasn't very crowded. He said some of his buddies just loved it, especially with Trump being there and the Let's Go Brandon chants. He said he likely won't go to another LIV event unless the fields really improve. Said the golf course looked amazing (he's played both Bedminster courses before).

So according to Norman they absolutely offered Tiger a ridiculous amount of money and he turned them down. Also the COO of LIV says they need a broadcast deal at some point.

Court documents show that Phil was suspended by the PGA Tour on March 22nd, just like most of us always thought. Monahan's comments about him being welcome at any event were complete crap.

Would never support the Saudi's or by extension LIV.
But you support the PGA (PGA Stores) who takes money from the same fund that funds LIV along with many Saudi based companies. Including the biggest sponsor of the LPGA.

LIV is going to win in court too. Guaranteed.

They definitely need that. They can’t survive on the Saudi fund forever with no revenue from a media deal.

But live content is king. They are going to get one.

I’ll bet you LIV will not win in court.

Ok, the LIV golfers suing the PGA.

Cmon, give me a chance to win my money back that you've been loaned...
The problem is that there are 2 different law suits. I will take the one that doesn’t involve Talor Gooch, Matt Jones and Hudson Swafford on the current FedEx cup playoff.

An absolutely bs lawsuit if I ever saw one.
It's not a bs lawsuit at all. PGA Tour actions have brought this on. Remember these are not employees but 1099 workers who are expected to play for no pay if they miss the cut. Then banned because they wanted to earn guaranteed money.

This is the law suit. LIV players are paid guaranteed money to show up for work. Are they still 1099 or more like W2?

And are allowed 3 conflicting-event releases per season. Saudi Invitational was allowed but these were denied. The 3 that qualified for the playoffs have a good chance to be allowed to play. I think I read the PGA Tour would go to 128 if so.

PGA tour players give up the right to play on competing tours - even as 1099 employees. This is enforceable under Florida law. PGA Tour happens to be a Florida entity.

gonna be interesting.

Other than his collar Tiger is a very traditional golfer. His rejection of the LIV doesn't surprise me.

https://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html Excuses. The top guys play maybe 10-15 events. Timing means nothing. Check out this leaderboard. Cink, Sabbatini, Zach Johnson. I am sure you are dying to watch those guys.
FedEx Cup Standings Top 10 as of today with a number of events still remaining thru November

Scheffler - 22 events
C Smith -16 events
Burns - 21 events
Schauffele - 18 events
Cantlay - 17 events
McIlroy - 13 events
Finau - 22 events
Thomas - 18 events
Young - 22 events
Matsuyama - 19 events

Can add

Zalatoris - 21 events
Fitzpartick - 17 events
Spieth - 19 events
Rahm - 16 events
Hovland - 18 events
Morikawa -16 events
Lowry - 15 events

I'd think that would be a list of top players

Your list is not that accurate. That includes all starts. We were discussing PGA Tour starts (not majors, Ryder Cups, World Golf & DP events). Just taking a look at Scheffler on the PGA Tour site, he has about 10 PGA Tour events since last fall. I would expect young US players and guys like Finau would have more. Finau has a lot of kids to support!

Those are starts that qualify for FedEx points so Ryder Cup and DP would not be included. I don't believe The Open counts
