He signed a UDFA contract, which basically was just to put him on their camp/summer league roster. Can someone explain the first deal his signed? That wasn’t an official two way contract? So draft night he was unofficially officially signed?
Yup, one step closer to the big leagues and can start earning an NBA paycheck.Good news.
Sounds like it.I wonder if he is done playing in the summer league so they look at others?
Nice!!!!
Sounds like he makes a guaranteed $502,000

This puts him on the actual roster
Nice!!!!
Well, he really isn't on the roster yet.Great news, where are all the NBA experts that said he would never make a roster?
No way. Theres some guys who played nba games playing in summer leagueI wonder if he is done playing in the summer league so they look at others?
Those same people were also saying he'd never make a G league team either...lol. So we shall see.Well, he really isn't on the roster yet.

Nick, i couldn’t find much online but it does seem his contact is NOT guaranteed. Please confirm for the sake of curiosity.Since you asked for an NBA expert - I'll chime in.
1. As pointed out above, he's not on an NBA roster. This is basically a training camp invite. Looking at the makeup of the Raptors roster and salary situation, it's unlikely he'll make the roster out of training camp. However, he has a chance. Also, he'll have the ability to play his way up in the G-League at a minimum.
Raptors currently have 12 players with guaranteed contracts and their 2nd round pick is expected to be #13. That leaves 2 spots on the final roster among many candidates.

2. I won't speak for myself, but he was never in doubt of making a G-League team or being invited to Summer League.
Anyone who said that isn't an NBA expert. Anyone who said RHJ wouldn't even make a G-League roster are just as un-informed as the people saying he was going to be a 1st round pick the last 2 years or next year if he returned.
3. I will speak for myself and I repeatedly said RHJ was likely late 2nd round to undrafted based on all reports and information available. That is exactly what happened.
4. I am a loser for watching any NBA game not involving Ron Harper Jr.Since you asked for an NBA expert - I'll chime in.

Interesting, the revisionist history posted by other posters. Your #2 and 3 are exactly what I read here repeatedly. I think most people thought he'd be a late 2/UFA and a G-league guy. I know I did, and I'm no NBA expert.Since you asked for an NBA expert - I'll chime in.
