About 60% of the prime courtside seats are empty. WTF??? How in the world did they not sell those?

Think all the Michigan fans are on the opposite side. Assuming those will all be full for Arizona and Houston. But still such a bad look

What is Dickinson's shooting %? He has missed a lot of shots in close. Others have as well but he has had the most opportunities.

Amazing how consistent Villanova has become. I can remember before 2016, Jay Wright taking some heat for early departures from the tournament. A team that clearly values shooting over size. If Michigan makes more shots from in close maybe they get it done but that is not the case tonight.

Michigan opens and closes their season with losses to Big East teams. Can’t say I’m disappointed to see them out.

Michigan didn't embarrass themselves at all. Remember they are the 8th place Big 10 team.

I like a Purdue-Nova national championship game. Jay could get another one this year
The media and the NCAA officials want a final four to include Duke,North Carolina.Kansas and Villanova.

And then there was 1!! B1G u underperforms yet again
not really,, B1G is supposed to get 1/4 or better of the elite eight? Give us 1/4 of all the bids.. lots of parity out there.. been seeing it this whole tourney... 1-seeds underperformed.. meaning the committee "underperformed"

I have to disagree. The Big Ten played out very similarly to the rankings. I would surmise that Purdue was truly the only top 10 team in the conference, and they are one of 12 teams left.

Michigan and either Illinois/Iowa swapped spots. The conference had 7 of the top 32 teams and 2 of the top 16 which seemed accurate.

agree, they are an elite program. I was curious and found that in the last 15 years they been in the top 10 in 12 of those seasons at some point. In the prior 30 seasons, only 5 times.

Amazing, they went from good regional program to national power. To think, we almost had Jay Wright…

The fallacy of this argument is that it assumes that all bids have equivalent likelihoods of success. But that's not true.

And even if it were, by your math the league still underperformed by almost 50% (7/32 = 3.5/16).

Bottom line IMO anyway is that if you have to start resorting to math explanations, rather than championships, you've already lost the debate.
