Having it as a live feed for a bubble team is a big roll of the Dice.

Rutgers wouldn't be having CBS here unless they were very confident about their chances. We are in. They know it. We all know it. Can't wait to see them celebrate
Well, I think CBS would like to have their crews at the schools most at risk, because the reactions would be the most animated, both positive and negative

Having a crew at Duke, for example, would be boring

every year, there are cameras on teams that don’t get in. Haven’t you watched Selection Sunday in the past? I disagree that it’s bad publicity. To those that don’t pay attention as closely, they get to find out that we were a legit contender for the tourney. Not every recruit is as plugged in as we are…
You had me with the first 2 sentences and then completely lost me afterwards. Fwiw. Any recruit that doesn't know isn't worth it and if not our recruiting really sucks not making that a point. Wow.

Agree that any current recruit should obviously know which schools are good but you want to be in people’s (parents, younger children) heads as a name basketball program. Being featured on the selection show helps that whether you make it or not. Being a high profile bubble team that misses >> being a bubble team no one even knows was on the bubble

Geoff billet was crying.
That day we had like a 20 % chance of getting in. Tomorrow I say 50/50 . But I believe Dayton is our destiny
Resume definitely wasn’t as strong that year and we lost too many down the stretch.

Minnesota AD is on the Committee. I would think it's fairly likely the B1G knows whether RU is in or not... Highly doubt they'd let us embarrass ourselves on national TV... Just a thought

It’s not embarrassing; it’s heartbreaking. The stark contrast between elation and heartbreak is why millions of fans are watching championship weekend and will tune into selection Sunday.

Nobody is looking to shield this team from potential agony. This is the game, this is the purpose of this time of year, the players’ emotions—whatever they will be on Sunday—are the show.

This is why the game is played.

Depends how it's represented. If there's a group like in the past that say Rutgers belongs and got robbed like ESpn used to do. ok maybe.
If it's a one off of how we lost a stupid game.. then it's another piss on Rutgers moment.
Tell me. What are the talking heads saying now? Anything positive? Nope.

It doesn’t matter what they say.. the camera says the same thing regardless which is that Rutgers is meaningful in college basketball. They could spend the entire 30 minute show talking about the Lafayette loss and it would be a positive

They were on us last year. No doubt we were in. I think THE MAJORITY of forecasts have us in. This should be a good look…. Hey, CBS probably ain’t at SHU, and you KNOW they’re in… so that’s a win.

I heard the camera guy pulled him over to the side and was heard saying "hey, I've got a great idea how you could improve foul shooting".
Strip thing happened before that day . It took place during the 1999 season.

Number one. I have no idea.
Number two: I thought he was the guy and was shocked by the fall. His recruiting, game coaching, and all was exactly what I was looking for back then.

Well in looking at the latest projections quite a few have Rutgers in but CBS has both Rutgers and Michigan as 1st 4 out. Will be interesting to see if they send a camera crew.
