There is no mention of Johnson transferring to UCLA which has the potentail like last season to have a long run in the NCAA Tournament.

I know there is some thought that if Young had hung around maybe Mulcahy does not develop the way he has, but imagine this team with all 3 guys.

I assume this means UCLA is in? Of the 3 Myles is the guy I was rooting for. Love that guy.
They got a 4 seed. Will be rooting for them because of Myles.

And agree with RU#s that I’m glad JY and Tez didn’t make the tournament.

I don’t care about “Vanilla Kiss” one way or the other.

If JY and MM weren’t on opposites sides of the country they could get together and watch the games together oh well maybe they can zoom

I feel good for Peter. Trust me he got along very well with every guy on RU. On his last season at RU he only played a couple minutes in two games but he still practiced hard and rooted so hard for our guys sitting on the bench that entire season. Young and Mathis both decided to leave and Young's numbers were down this season across the board and Mathis did about the same as what he did at RU. I think if Jacob had stayed Paul would not have had the chance to shine and improve as he did. He led the BIG 10 in assists and is averaging over 9 points per game. Jacob never got too many assists.

Why not feel good for young and Johnson too? Both are rutgers alums like many here

Johnson, Young, and Mathis cheated themselves out of a solid chance at a Big Ten men’s hoops title and a lasting legacy here. Short-sighted.
Johnson and young got rutgers degrees . They are fellow alums and rutgers men . Just like Peter kiss

Each transfer is different.

MJ - gave us 4 years, but hurts he had two more in eligibility. good kid. Was a great ambassador for RU, why not stay!?!?

Young - less forgiven bc tweeted immediately after the game so sounded like going pro and then lands at Oregon, followed his brothers path…but cmon the timing was awful…glad he’s out

Mathis - I thought this was about Jaden Jones likely stealing his minutes so makes less sense now…I think one more offensive option could have won us 2-3 extra games this year, not unhappy he’s out

Kiss - got a legit shot, didn’t deliver…shot poorly, were there locker room issues? Happy for him, makes me wonder why couldnt have played better for RU hope I get to see what he does against a 1 seed?

After seeing the show in the conference tournament by the nation's leading scorer I hope that they get knocked out in the first round.

Mathis didn't do himself any favors, probable got around the same minutes, didn't start and didn't get his RU degree, oh and didn't get another shot at NCAA tourney. Poster child for the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

But if they don't get knocked out in Dayton, it'll be fun to watch him do pushups and taunt the fans and media again in the next game as he single handedly demolishes the Arizona defense. 😉

Young was a good player that was great at times and not so good other times.
I think Paul wouldn't have improved as much if Jacob stayed .
Myles was good, but Cliff proved better and gave RU a better offense.
Mathis wasn't missed and both him and RU didn't really lose by his leaving..

I belive once the team ahusted to those 3 leaving, it became a better team than it would have been if they stayed

I’m happy for Kiss. I always thought we made him focus on shooting the three too much when he really should have had a more well-rounded offensive role.

I’ll be rooting for him and Bryant. Hopefully, our fans at the arena will too. And hopefully Bryant fans can recognize that and return the favor.
