And if you actually watched you'd notice that the Bryant fans ,see guy with no shirt, were also part of problem--yelling fire in a movie theatre is so innocent -- you bury your head in the sand too often
I'm not following the logic or connecting the dots between a shirtless Bryant fan and fie in a crowded theater. 🤷‍♂️

Let’s see - 30+ pt game and some clown on the winning team is doing push ups after made baskets, flexing, pointing toward the crowd where the Wagner fans were (even if looking above them), and some think the player had absolutely nothing to do with it?

Haha this was actually hilarious to watch. He exodus irrational confidence. Hes just doing well shooting a high volume vs trash competition. Hes like 26 years old haha. Hes gonna get held to like 5 points vs a legitimate team in the tourney haha

“bad sportsmanship” I suggest you watch another sport like golf.
I won't buy the premise that this is the way it is attitude about the game. If you don't try to stop it that means you accept it and you've already lost the battle. One of the troubling things about this board for me is the acceptance by so many on it of bad sportsmanship by college athletes with the notions that it's just having fun.
I've been called an old fart and a get off my lawn guy by people on this board. If those labels apply to someone who thinks good sports and good sportsmanship don't have to be mutually exclusive than I plead guilty.

Pete was having fun and wanted to get to the NCAA. I attended at least 15 practices when Pete played for us. He got along well with all of our team and cheered like crazy for our guys the year he sat out. He might have celebrated a bit too much but he was just having fun. Cut him a break. Whenever I spoke to him he was always so nice to me. His mom and dad attended almost every RU game. He was outstanding at Quininpac before transferring to Rutgers and Seton Hall wanted him badly as well. He found a league where he could play major minutes and have success. I am very happy that he is leading the nation in scoring. Good luck to him.

I defended him when the usuals on this board attacked him. His family sat near me and as I pointed out they/him were team players but his antics at today's game helped instigate the problem. It wasn't the first time .

this was at the Wagner fans while the were up 20-30

this was at press row. He say “thats for you *****”

i heard he did a pushup after a basket, and from what saw basically basically acted like an idiot that had never been on the court before. with 5-7 left up 40 would pull the rebound, ignore everyone and go 1 on 5.

It reminded me of Woody Harrelson in white men cant jump.

Peter Kiss not being the instigator of that fight is the biggest upset of March so far.
Earlier in the game after foul on another player during scramble for loose ball, Kiss pulled is teammate away in a bear hug when it looked like there might be a fight, Announcer said something like “ Kiis being the peacemaker, that’s a head schratcer

I think it's pretty telling that Kiss was the nation'sleading scorer but was not selected as the Conference's Player of the Year The award is voted by the conference coaches so he must have pissed a lot of people off during the course of the season.

When a kid goes from being the little fish in the big pond to the big fish in the little pond that can sometimes cause a change in attitude and/or character. That might be the case here. Who knows?

Since we're talking nation's leading scorers and Wagner basketball here's a fairly easy trivia question.
Who is the only Wagner player to lead the NCAA in scoring?
Hint: He and Rick Barry are the only NJ natives to accomplish this feat (I think)?

The “*****” comment sounds cringeworthy.

The White Men Can’t Jump analogy seems apt.

I’m guessing some fans taunted him early in the game.

It is clearly understood . He got recruited over . It happens

There’s more but he’s not with us, so I’d rather devote a thread to a topic more important to our team than towards a transferred player’s actions. Mind you, I know a great deal about the kid since I live in CT, about 5 miles from Quinnipiac, the player’s first stop.

So he's transferred from a big school to a small school, he's the oldest guy on the court, you're up 30, and you're pulling this crap? Embarrassing.

And how bout the Bryant coach pulling him and telling him to sit at the end of the bench?
