Having some fun and showing off a little bit is one thing. PK went over the top last night and took it too far

Every so often a guy like Kiss or Marshall Henderson comes around and just stirs **** up. It's good for college basketball but I agree that you don't want everyone acting like that.

He was literally waving goodbye to them...directly at them.
I didn't see that. I say him point up into the stands while jogging backwards near mid court after making a shot. His arm with pointed up into the students not down and forward towards the bench where the Wagner fans were. We must be talking about two different moments. And for the record. I hate all this stuff by players. There are better ways to celebrate.

And if you actually watched you'd notice that the Bryant fans ,see guy with no shirt, were also part of problem--yelling fire in a movie theatre is so innocent -- you bury your head in the sand too often
YES, THAT KID WAS A COMPLETE DOPE. This has everything to do with Wagner being down by 36.... THIRTY SIX and those Bryant fans likely rubbing it in.

He was previously suspended for 2 games for guess what, bad sportsmanship which included "attempts to incite violence"
"incite violence" describing actions on a basketball court is a Charmin soft term that didn't exist 10 years ago

a basketball player talking **** is not inciting violence

you want to see incite violence? go into the city a take a subway ride

BS. I'm in the city constantly ,own a place there and understand it's issues. You're bringing politics into this and there's no comparison or reason to do so. We're talking about an ugly incident at a college game.

every player in college basketball is in his twenties or late teens. Nobody else acts like that

Hey, even @socaldave used to talk trash in our track meets back in the day. He almost got into a brawl against some FDU guys, but what do you expect from a guy from the South Bronx?

Haha this was actually hilarious to watch. He exodus irrational confidence. Hes just doing well shooting a high volume vs trash competition. Hes like 26 years old haha. . . .
He's Bryant's version of Jacob Young, only Kiss is finishing on a (semi) high note.

The older dude who gets up with utter disgust and contempt written all over his face is priceless! "Now, that's unseemly, young man!"

Well, if it's the play that I saw, while he was doing pushups the other team had numbers on the other end of the floor and drew a foul.

And Buddy Boeheim just cheap shot an opponent in a sensitive area and got away with it.

Last night's game was covered in detail by SportsCenter. I like the antics - up to a point. The Bryant HC gave Kiss a dressing down during the game.

Kiss is playing in his lane now. I like the kid, but when he was at RU, he was above his weight class. Kiss averaged 13 ppg at Quinnipiac while playing in 31 games. At Rutgers, he played in 32 games (total) and averaged 6 ppg. Kiss goes back down in competition, and suddenly he's a scorer again. At Bryant is averaging over 30 ppg. There is a reason why Kiss excels in low majors compared to a power conference. He's not facing guys his size with more ability to stop him and score on him.

Peter Kiss is in his 30s.
This sounds like a fun game. I'll play.

Peter Kiss is at college on the GI Bill after 4 tours in Compton where he mostly played street ball.

(BTW.. I don't care about his antics.. until it causes his team to lose or causes some animosities on the team.. I don't like it.. I'd prefer he not do that crap.. but to each, his own.. for all I know he'll find a way to make a career out of his "brand". Maybe he'll make a popular -and money making- youtube channel of videos of him playing pickup ball and mouthing off)

There was a nice story on Peter Kiss in the NY Post a couple of days ago. He is not all bad:

"For years, Kiss has worked with people with disabilities. It started back home in Manhattan at Safe Haven. This winter, he joined the Unified Dolphins, a Special Olympics team that partners with the Smithfield YMCA in Rhode Island. Instead of using his Friday nights to party, he was helping teach kids, many of them with intellectual disabilities, the game of basketball. They were with him at Bryant on Selection Sunday."
