Totally summarizes the night
I missed the 1st half. Did we play that poorly?Inconsistent performances are determined by the teams ability to score.
Didn’t play great but did play hard, first half not so much.Didn’t think they played all that great in the 2nd half either.
So you are the reason we lostI was not enjoying the first half so at halftime I took a walk and listened on my phone. I walked until we tied it up then went back in to see the finish. I should have kept walking
I do love our radio team though. Really enjoyable to listen to them
a 8-9 seed????As a 8-9 seed, and if we win our 1st game, good chance we see Wisconsin in the conference tourney.
Yep. The difference between 23-5 and 16-12. The game is 40 minutes long -- including the first 20it was a terrible first half.
second half RU played pretty good defense...good enough to win but its offense was not good and if not for a Geo flurry taking it upon himself we would have been down double digits
they played hard, they just did not play smart. Wisconsin played smart, they are consistent, thats why they are competing for the Big 10 title and RU is falling by the wayside
That to me was the story.First assist was at 5:32 of first half, and we finished the first half with a brutal 1 assist to 8 turnovers. First made three wasn't until 12:50 of the second half.
That to me was the story.
Highlighted by the missed back to back oops, and then the Baker overthrow on the runout by Harper.
I know we missed 2 front ends of one on ones, were they both first half as well?
They played hard in the first. Look at their defensive effort. The just executed poorly on the offensive end.Didn’t play great but did play hard, first half not so much.
Yeah that is not the most optimal shot. Also we need to be more cautious throwing the lob in trafficThis is a small potatoes thing but I hate when we start the game by setting up Cliff for the baseline hook that he hits about 25% of the time. We went down 5 real quickly.

We have been setting first Myles and now Cliff for the first play of game when we win tip forever. I wish the casinos had a prop bet for this. This is a small potatoes thing but I hate when we start the game by setting up Cliff for the baseline hook that he hits about 25% of the time. And in spite of this we were in the game up to the last few minutesFirst assist was at 5:32 of first half, and we finished the first half with a brutal 1 assist to 8 turnovers. First made three wasn't until 12:50 of the second half.

We missed 2 in the first half and a third one in the second half so our foul shooting percentage was essentially 50%That to me was the story.
Highlighted by the missed back to back oops, and then the Baker overthrow on the runout by Harper.

And Geo missed the front end as well. That's the potential of 8 points right there lost.We missed 3 front ends - not sure when they were, though.
Looks like Mag and McConnell in the first half, Omoruyi in the second.
Baker missed the front end of two shots, not a 1-and-1. He was 1/2 from the line. And Geo missed the front end as well. That's the potential of 8 points right there lost.
Yes, that's true. But if I recall correctly he also missed the front end of a 1 and 1 in the first half.Baker missed the front end of two shots, not a 1-and-1. He was 1/2 from the line.
Just going by the box score.Yes, that's true. But if I recall correctly he also missed the front end of a 1 and 1 in the first half.
He needs to get some air under that shot... some arc. This is a small potatoes thing but I hate when we start the game by setting up Cliff for the baseline hook that he hits about 25% of the time. We went down 5 real quickly.
Missed some big 1 and 1 free throws against Wisconsin on Saturday.I missed the 1st half. Did we play that poorly?
One of my issues with RU is starting ridiculously slow then playing lights out to get back in the game. Points in the 1st 3 minutes count the same as last 3 minutes. They sometimes start like they just rolled out of bed. Drives me crazy.
At least we aren't an embarrassment at the free throw line any more. Thank God.
We lost to a really good team last night. They made some clutch shots and never lost composure. Our guys can learn a lot from playing well coached teams like that.
Shocker from you....They won the second half...Didn’t think they played all that great in the 2nd half either.
This was definately the game; I was at the game with my son's, and my oldest said that there was far too much one-on-one basketball, no extra passes, which caused us to take some tougher 2-point shots than was necessary. We put far less pressure on the Wisconsin defense in the first half than we should have. Can't be down 9 to a good team and expect to win; it took everything out of us just to come back. That to me was the story.

Therefore they automatically played well…got itShocker from you....They won the second half...
Played better than the opponent. Therefore they automatically played well…got it
