Can’t imagine what would happen if the Rutgers coach did this. In fact, we already know when he did less than this, it was all that was talked about during the week of the Final Four more than the actual games of those teams. Interesting to see what the attention is for this
Did anyone ask Howard why the hell his team was pressing Wisconsin’s scrubs? He talks like the game was over and Gard shouldn’t call timeout so why were his guys including starting guard pressing balls out?

If Howard didn’t want to shake hands he shouldn’t have returned to the handshake line. HE was the instigator, walking up to Gard and looking past him, not offering to shake his hand, just so he could lift his mask and threaten “I’ll remember that” … Gard of course tries to talk to him after he says that and Howard just looses it. Howard was the instigator and the madman

I think there is a big difference between placing your hand on someone's arm and striking someone in the head.
If point differential is an NCAA consideration, then that’s why Mich was pressing. Gard was having none of it, wanting to keep his margin. He had already put in scrubs which would probably cost him points. Seems like Howard can give it but not take it.
