Well, he's scoring more points per game, with a higher 3P% and FT%, with more assists, fewer turnovers, and fewer fouls. I mean, he's got a lower 2P% and about 1 less rb per game, maybe? Is it that he's taking/making fewer game ending shots? Of his 5 highest scoring games, 2 have come this season.

There's some recency bias based on this last game, though. I'd imagine the numbers would have been a lot different after the Nebraska game when he'd averaged 18+ points over the prior 3 contests.
I Was talking about Mulcahy.

Favorite players are often not going to be “best” players. To me, a “favorite” player is always going to give 100%. That means, Mulcahy, and Mag, and maybe Cliff and Reiber. Baker, Harper, Hyatt, and McConnell are disqualified for me.

I wouldn't group Caleb there. He gives effort constantly

I think that’s usually true. There have been a couple times this season, including the 1st half against against NW where he was in a complete daze. I actually thought he might have a medical problem the last game…completely out of it.

Harper is my choice because he is the most talented player, the player opponents fear the most and the one most likely to make the shot to win games. The student section clearly favors Mulcahy based on the cheers during the Michigan State game.

Mulcahy holds the key to Rutgers finishing on the upswing going forward. From a physical standpoint Paul is a powerful mismatch for most guards . Most teams will now attempt to body him up , double team and force him into mistakes. The problem with that is Mulcahy handles and passes so well . As another pointed out we have waited for 2+ years to see Paul blossom as a leader and point guard . It is a thing of beauty to behold when this team is moving, sharing the ball and playing D like they are capable of doing. I didn’t think the RAC /Jersey Mike’s would lead to a win but man was I wrong and happy to be so. We have a great opportunity to beat Ohio State on Wednesday and really make a statement . Need the fans and the team to create an uncomfortable home court scene. Last I’m hoping young Mr. Miller is ok we will need his hustle and pressure D against the Buckeyes.

Have to go with Ron. His pedigree gave us a certain amount of
credibility and his being a Jersey player who has exceeded his
recruitment predictions hasn't hurt us either

I think it’s Paul emergence that has changed this to more of a team game recently. The energy level, passing, cutting and fast breaks that were missing, have suddenly appeared. The confidence level that they can beat anyone is there. And remember Holtzman’s pre game comments were centered on concerns about Paul. I predict next year Paul makes all Big Ten. Next year we could have the number one defender (CO); the number one blocker (Cliff) and number one assist leader PM. In the conference. Suddenly next year doesn’t look so bad.
