I hope it does not affect RU.
First thing that popped into my head.Looks like Willard is dodging Iona, just like he did to RU last year
Exactly- let Omicron run it’s course without quarantines, etc. This stuff is so ridiculous.
Anyone sick over there or just testing positive?
News flash - Omicron is 70x more contagious than Delta. Everyone is going to get it.
Stupid comment.Lol SHU are a bunch of cowards if they're gonna duck Iona like they did us last year.

Willard wants no part of Pitino. Smart moveLooks like Willard is dodging Iona, just like he did to RU last year
FalseThey're not ducking the game, they're just somehow in a Television age of games that impacts ticket sales and advertising revenue, throwing money out the window, because they have players and/or coaches unvaccinated.....
Pharmaceutical interventions only.
False
No way Pike agrees to play IonaIona at MSG would be a tremendous event. Move Rider to Monday or Tuesday.
Not that it matters because we know the new variants are contracted and spread regardless of vaccinated status, but, Name the players and coaches that haven’t been “ “vaxxed”on SHU?What's false....?? NYC let people know for months in advance, what the requirements were to play.....whether you or I agree with it or not, it set the standards for whats required.....and under 2 days to game day and this is somehow a surprise??
If I am Iona or paid for a ticket for Iona/SHU or Pitt/St John's, I would be expecting 2 games, not 1....If I carved out time on my calendar so I can watch my favorite team or school and it gets canceled because you can't get vaccinated, then don't schedule the game there and schedule something else......
I’m sick of reading these freaking COVID arguments here. Come on, mods, let’s go. Get this shite off here. Act quickly, these fester and get uglier and uglier. Who gives a flying what people on a Rutgers Basketball Board think about COVID?!
My opinion ,need just one covid 19 related thread on this boardit matters because games are being cancelled and there will be a potential impact down the line, pretending like people cannot have opinions is absurd

Will be interesting to see how it affects the bubble teams at the end of the year, when some will have played more (or fewer) games than the other bubble teams.it matters because games are being cancelled and there will be a potential impact down the line, pretending like people cannot have opinions is absurd
just like every year, some get the shaft/some receive the bid. Will be interesting to see how it affects the bubble teams at the end of the year, when some will have played more (or fewer) games than the other bubble teams.

Everyone with any understanding of the word “political” recognizes that every time you (you in particular) mention COVID you are doing so in a coded political context using basketball as an excuse for your comments time and again and again. You’re doing nothing but dividing the board only to come back with your it’s abut basketball bs. You’re totally transparent.it matters because games are being cancelled and there will be a potential impact down the line, pretending like people cannot have opinions is absurd
Probability is difficult.Saw this and I thought it was funny.
The government has a dilemma. They need to convince the unjabbed that the jabs work in order to their first 2 doses, while at the same time convince the jabbed that they don't work in order to get their boosters.
What a conundrum!
Things like forcing the closure of schools and cancelling games where everyone is jabbed and boosted isn't helping the cause.
Like I said, you better have a plan in place if you haven't had this. You are going to get it.
FYI - NYC doesn't have a vaccine mandate for players on visiting teams, only teams that are based there. Get the facts straight. What's false....??
