Hey, me neither. I appreciate that. Even posting here, I hope I'm coming across as respectful.
I thought you guys played better than the final score indicated, though I did find it odd that you seemed to give up over the last 3 minutes. I think you gave some psuedo-pressure once then just let us dribble out 30 seconds every possession. I get 10 points in 3 minutes is a bit of a long shot but it certainly wasn't impossible.

SHU was the better team for sure but for those criticizing our recruiting and our future I think you might be off. We will still have Omoruyi, Mag, Mulcahy, Hyatt, Jones, Miller and hopefully McConnell which makes 7 of our top 10. Perhaps Palmquist and Reiber can help more next year as well. Woolfolk could be a big help on the boards and Simpson is an All State point guard from NJ. We still should have at least two open scholarships to fill.
As for SHU I think they have 5 grad eligible students and they are one of the oldest teams in the country. They should lose Rhoden, Cale, Obiagu and Aiken and possibly even more. Samuel apparently is being watched by scouts and Harris may be gone as well. Next year is a year away and next year's game will be at a rocking RAC. I myself feel good about our team going forward. We need to win our next 3 games and than do well in the BIG TEN games. Anything can happen.

They were beyond corny man. I even tried to joke w some guys behind me in good spirit but they weren't having it. So angry and charged up. It really put me off. Some staring me down pre game too and I was in a jovial mood. You'd think two NJ colleges would be more fun. I had WAY more fun with Maryland fans at football games and do every year.
I know I get kind of crazy with losses, but these fans really did set me off on a different level tonight. The whole "little sister" thing i keep saying is because of the way they were acting.

Hey, I get it. I'd be in a bad mood if you guys won. To be honest, I find this game so stressful that's it's often hard to enjoy (which sucks because it defeats what sports are supposed to be about). I'm here because I think there are some really good posters on this board and I enjoy reading their opinions, but I get that I'm in enemy territory during an emotional time. I appreciate the offer but doubt I'll take you up on it since I'm no longer local to NJ. Maybe one day though.
Yes that is RU basketball this year. We go as Ron goes. Our backcourt of average combo guards and a talented but still developing center with zero back-ups gives us just about no margin for error if RHJ isn't scoring 25+.

That developing center had a monster put-back jam that I thought could be a momentum changer at the time. He needs some more reps to develop consistency but you have yourselves a player there.

I’ve seen our fans be some of the shittiest trashiest fans too. And I call it how I see it all around any fan base and league. Been to many sporting events and every team has em. Based on many decades of observation.

Lmaoo without a doubt sounded like every football game instead of FU PSU it was RU. So I guess this is their football.
Hate their fans, but really like their team. They deserved the win. I’m 58 and had to listen to a lot of juvenile jackass insults by mostly male thirty- something’s just for walking into the Rock with RU gear on. Beyond immature as a fan base.

I've legit had a much better experience at a Jets game as a Dolphins fan. And that was a few weeks ago and i've been going for 30 years.
I never talk the same nonsense to Ranger fans at the Rock either.
