Staten Island as this is FDNY and WTC related. The place in Red Bank?
You go where they tell you. The guy who did me is the “plumber” for a lot of us.
Great bedside, same with the anesthesiologist.

That sounds asinine!I'm kind of curious if this colonoscopy thread can grow to be longer than the one-word thread. What would that say about us?![]()
One little small polyp and that was it.
Didn’t even realize I went out as the anesthesiologist must have given me the good stuff… *had them all laughing before the procedure.
Nurse went thru the checklist:
- What’s your birth date?
- You’re here today for a colonoscopy, correct?
* “Colonoscopy?! I’m here to get my knee done!”
Hilarity ensues and I woke up about 20 minutes later.
Prep was fine, procedure was fine, recovery was fine.
Get it done, folks! Nothing to be afraid of, nothing. This coming from a guy who is not a fan of needles (which the anesthesiologist picked up on and commented- lol).
It's important that you take that position! You guys have me bent over laughing.
HAHAHAHA!!!Is vodka considered a "clear liquid"?
Asking for a friend.
remember, this is one of the only times you will ever be asked to fart and people will be happy about it!

I used Gatorade, the original.Mix it with iced tea or lemonade. Actually mixing it with different flavors makes it a tad easier to drink it all
Make sure it's cold.
Yeah, but you’re gonna feel great tomorrow.IT'S LIKE FREAKING MT. ETNA
Is the drink worse than the glucose drink women take when pregnant? @MrsScrew I am not keeping up here, sorry....with this prep you have to drink clear beverages? Only water?
I did that too. Split it amongst two bottles of yellow Gatorade and actually was pretty easy to drink.I used Gatorade, the original.
Went down pretty easy. And yes on the cold part.
He’s probably eating or sleepingAnyone know how @Bleem Phuppert is doing today?

I'm going with the pills instead. I think.Same here.
But next time I might do what @MrsScrew suggested and mix it up with different kinds of drinks...ice tea, Gatorade, etc.
Keeping it cold helped a lot too.
I was told to take the 4 pills of Dulcolax first than the whole thing of Miralax mixed in with the liquids.I'm going with the pills instead. I think.
I can’t believe you all talked me into this. I shall have my vengeance… at the Maryland game… in the portajohns.
No ****?"Colonoscopy Prep"
Are we recruiting any guys from there?
Their D lineman can really clog up the holes.
Sadly, it can occur young. Lost a relative where they found it at 28. He only survived a few years and was gone in early thirties.I just heard a story of someone recently in their late 30s catching it too late and passing away a year later. Sad situation with a couple of young kids at home. .
Lots of good info here . Get screened. Thanks for sharing.
