Jesus some of you need to get a life! You would think Rutgers was losing by 50 points. Calm down, grow up. What a **** show
nah, want to get the backup a 4th down rep, but weird play call to throw a screenStrange going for it there.
Strange going for it there.
Same uniforms, how much better can they be?Let's go get Michigan![]()
I don't see much value in one extra snap there. Punt it move on. Routine win.Getting back up snaps?

Well I wouldn't like it if we were on the wrong side of a 45-13 game and the other guys go for it on 4th & 4 there at that spot on the field.Considering they could kneel if they got close to the goal I see no harm. And there is value to extra reps for the reserves.
Really - even if Adam Korsak was the punter? Pinning them at the 1 to set up a potential safety wouldn’t have come across more classy. It’s not like we took a shot down field at the end zone to try to run up the score.Well I wouldn't like it if we were on the wrong side of a 45-13 game and the other guys go for it on 4th & 4 there at that spot on the field.
And in any number of other hypotheticals if the punt goes in the endzone or out around the 10? Cmon.Really - even if Adam Korsak was the punter? Huh? In that case, Delaware still gets the ball back with far less of an “opportunity” to make the score look closer than they had.And in any number of other hypotheticals if the punt goes in the endzone or out around the 10? Cmon.
Never said DEL should have an opportunity to score. In fact I've been clear about questioning going for it then and there at that field position close to midfield. I don't like giving them the ball there with 4+ minutes left to play especially with R defensive backups in. Let Korsak either punt it around the 10 or knock it in the endzone. If we were 10-15 yds deeper in their end I have no problem running a conservative play on 4th & 4. Score, time remaining and field position all factor into my opinion. Consider another hypothetical where we have the ball on our own 40-45 yd line that late in the game up 32 pts, would you still want to go for it on 4th down?Huh? In that case, Delaware still gets the ball back with far less of an “opportunity” to make the score look closer than they had.
The point is with Korsak as our punter, there was a much higher probability there of a big special teams play setting up a situation where it would be next to impossible to restrain your 3rd team from playing defense and going for the safety.
Instead, we ran an extremely low risk reward play on 4th down that allowed our back up to throw the ball again. but had almost no chance of resulting in big gain. If we got the first down, we could’ve (and would’ve) ran out the clock with the next set of downs. Nothing about what was done was “showing up the opponent” or aiming for style points. Last week by the way we took a knee to end the game in the red zone.
Maybe Wimsatt can explain the playbook to him……Cole Snyder does not look like he knows the offense at all.
The game was over. It didn’t matter one way or another where we were on the field since the outcome was not in doubt.Never said DEL should have an opportunity to score. Huh? So if we're inside our own 20 at the point we go for it too?The game was over. It didn’t matter one way or another where we were on the field since the outcome was not in doubt.
You are arguing about a play that had zero meaning in the outcome of the game? WTF. Enjoy the easy win and stop complaining.Huh? So if we're inside our own 20 at the point we go for it too?
Let's just agree to disagree, not worth spending any more time arguing here.
That's Amore,!It’s okay for Delaware Oline to wrap their arms around our defenders. That’s not holding.
Yes thank you. That was exactly my point. It didn’t matter at all. We had 3rd team players in the game with a 32 point lead and nothing about that play call was offensive. You are arguing about a play that had zero meaning in the outcome of the game? WTF. Enjoy the easy win and stop complaining.
I enjoyed the ez win. I made a statement that we should've just punted at that point in the ez win. PASL is arguing that I'm wrong. I just stated let's agree to disagree--but thanks for sharing. You are arguing about a play that had zero meaning in the outcome of the game? WTF. Enjoy the easy win and stop complaining.
Why are you arguing about a play that was totally irrelevant??I enjoyed the ez win. I made a statement that we should've just punted at that point in the ez win. PASL is arguing that I'm wrong. I just stated let's agree to disagree--but thanks for sharing.
Again, I didn't start an argument about it. Scroll up, read, and try to keep up with the thread. Why are you arguing about a play that was totally irrelevant??
Let me rephrase it. Why even bring up the totally irrelevant play?Again, I didn't start an argument about it. Scroll up, read, and try to keep up with the thread.
I felt like making a comment at the time on the Board. Opinions and comments during a game are ok with you amirite? Now, why would another poster argue about that play that's so irrelevant ? And why would you decide to argue about an argument about said irrelevant play?Let me rephrase it. Why even bring up the totally irrelevant play?
Not really. You said you enjoyed the win but actually you didn't as you complained about a meanless play. In a thread full of complaints in a game never in doubt yours seemed to the biggest oddball of all of them.I felt like making a comment at the time on the Board. I didn’t see that but I do often see him going to make a play action fake but the RB has to pickup a blitz. That’s common and better than when the RB take the fake and our QB gets his head taken off.Fake handoff to the ghost 12th man. Love that play.
It’s a fade pass. You know better than that or at least I thought you did.agreed. a better DB would have picked that off or at worst deflected it.
we can get away with some stuff today due to the lower competition though.
Sure brah, nobody can enjoy a win because of one play in garbage time. Give it a rest. Not really. You said you enjoyed the win but actually you didn't as you complained about a meanless play. In a thread full of complaints in a game never in doubt yours seemed to the biggest oddball of all of them.
Haha. Then why did you complain about such stupid ****? Your post are getting even more stupid!Sure brah, nobody can enjoy a win because of one play in garbage time. Give it a rest.
I already explained it. Try reading better dopey.Haha. Then why did you complain about such stupid ****? Your post are getting even more stupid!
Really dude, they are calling in the plays and frequently changing them on the side lines? According to you though, I guess Cole was just lucky he was able to complete every pass and the receivers just happened to run the correct routes with him being so confused and not knowing the offense, right? Wow were we luckyCole Snyder does not look like he knows the offense at all.
Thank you. I rewatched the end of the game wondering the same thing.Really dude, they are calling in the plays and frequently changing them on the side lines? Wow were we lucky. I think you were drinking too much Macallan Saturday night...lol
