Ayala is the one that stuck out to me as "underrated". Waaayyyy better than Bohanan. Can score, lead a team and is a very good defender.

Donta Scott should be on there too. Wonder why they're so down on Maryland. I agree with Fatts being out of the top 100, I don't think he's anything special. In fact I'd put Ayala, Scott, and Qudus Wahab above Fatts just on the Terps alone.

I really like Qudus Wahab, who transferred in from Georgetown and I absolutely would have Cliff within the Top 100....Kofi Cockburn at #2 is way too high.

Baker is different than Bohannon. It is tough to compare them. Bohannon's D is so bad he shouldn't be on the floor, but he can shoot. I fully expect a RU player or 2 PLUS Harper will be ahead of Baker on this list.

I’m mildly concerned that indiana will have a real offensive system this season with Woodson and TJD will look incredible every game. He’s always seemed like a player who was just horribly restricted by poor coaching

No Jacob Young or Myles Johnson on the list despite several here saying they were our best/most important guys last season. It feels like even with his offensive limitations, Myles belongs on this list with his defensive ability.

They were most important by a mile. They might not be that important on their new teams

Indiana is going to be mediocre....again. The best part of the CBB season for Indiana fans is July and August. Woodson is no improvement over Archie. Just isn't. And they hired Thad Matta as part of the athletic department and it appears his job is to watch Woodson and report back to their new AD on what he sees/thinks. O/U is January 15th on when Woodson tries to punch him in the face. Fun times.

Our guards have been horrendous feeding the post .

Myles was a terrific defender and an integral starter on two pretty darn good Rutgers basketball teams. He competed in the post mano a Mano against some of the best CBB players in the country. Full stop (IMO).

if one categorizes offensive rebounding as offense than you have to say he was an above average offense player.

he was 98-156 from the floor or 63.8%. That has to count for something.

I loved Myles and don’t want to take a shot, but…

Was he a better offensive player than Donta Scott? John Harrar? Micah Potter? Those are not the names of the better big men in our league.
Myles was a great defensive player. His defense kept us in games playing head to head against some of the best offensive players in CBB. He was a (very) poor FT shooter and commanded no respect if he strayed more than 8’ away from the basket. Unless he was involved in a pick n roll set or fed directly in the low post his inability to stretch the floor (even a little) meant the lanes were going to be clogged for our drives. He was the epitome of a “perfectly fine offensive player”… with an inability to make FTs.

Now i need a shower because he is one of my all time favorites.

Fatts is a little turnover prone from the games I watched and got away with a lot of 1 on 1 up at URI.....he's going to have some of those opportunities but I am not sure where he will be defensively over 2 to 3 months of B1G level play.

I suppose if you lined up the other 13 centers offensively he would be closer to the bottom than the top.

I still think he was underutilized both in the low and high post. Many times I’d rather see the ball in his hands 15 feet from the basket looking for a cutter or opposite for an open perimeter shot than to have the ball in Jacobs hands

Absurd. We all know good offense when we see it. Myles is very weak on offense, and very strong on defense. Since UCLA has more talent than RU, he will be a limited role player there.

Absurd. We all know good offense when we see it. Myles is very weak on offense, and very strong on defense. Since UCLA has more talent than RU, he will be a limited role player there.

I can't find anywhere someone posting these things.

The argument is should Myles had more touches. The guy shot 68% from the field so good things happened when he got a shot off. Obviously when he took a shot often times it was others that did the work getting him high percentage shots.

Greene..dunks are part of the game, sure, so I am not discounting them. But I wonder what his percentage was on non-dunks. And also consider the muffs/kicks and other cringeworthy turnovers on gimmes where he didn't get a shot off.

You'd have no argument from me if he made a Top50 defensive player list. Maybe even Top 25. Fine. We needed his minutes and defensive presence. One might even say he was our MVP (but JY is my choice). But he was a very weak offensive player. Bad hands, soft, no range, etc.

Trent Frazier is better than Bohannan plus he’s not a punk like Bohannan.

Myles did not have bad hands. You just don’t watch Rutgers basketball or you aren’t objective.

They needed him to do that at URI. He'll have more talent around him than he ever has and should be much more of a facilitator at Maryland.

Will be interesting to see how good his defense is over the course of a full B1G season.

Still, I think he's a little low, like, by 3 to 5 spots.

I only saw the last 4 minutes or so of Tuesday's game? I see he had 2 turnovers in the game. How was he defensively?

Fatts was solid last night, RU didn't run any post ups to their guards like they did in College Park and RU settled for jump shots instead of driving and pulling up to shoot over the defense.....Caleb got to the paint and then went to far to allow the weak side defense to block his shot....if he pulls up, he did but missed his 2 pointers.
