Oh man, Baylor is feeding off their own energy and dominating right now on both ends of the court.

Has an undefeated number one team ever had 100 points scored on them in the Final?

That's very specific, so I'm going to say probably not.

I also don't believe a Gonzaga team with a guy named Suggs has had 100 points scored on them in the final.
Forget the Final, has any undefeated team ever given up 100 points in the NCAA tournament?

Baylor and Gonzaga run similar uptempo offenses.but Baylor has the best 3 point shooters in the country. They were making 3 pointers as easy as Gonzaga usually makes uncontested layups. The team with the best guards usually wins the national championship. After watching these teams including UCLA ,its understandable why the B1G has such great difficulty winning a national championship. The type of game in the B1G is more grind out low scoring performances with lots of fouling. The league lacks the guards that can create and make shots off the dribble.I wonder how league parity will be valued by the NCAA in future NCAA bid selections.

Baylor came in with a strong plan..... extend the defense way past the arc to prevent three point attempts from the Zags, foul like crazy under the basket and hope not all of them get called (which worked out), and crash the offensive glass hard. Helped that they started 5-5 from three, too.

Once the damage was done early, the Zags never recovered/adapted - punched in the mouth, and went to the mat. Baylor's bigs picked up a ton of fouls early on (4 on Thamba in the first 22 min, 4 on Tchatchoua in the first 25, 2 on Vital in the first 20).... and then just 2 on that group over the final 15 min once the lead was huge and Timme had 4 fouls.

Also didn't help matters for the Zags that Suggs picked up 2 fouls in just over the first 3 minutes, and spent a good chunk of the first half on the bench while the Zags lead ballooned.

Overall, wasn't a great game to watch. Ended up turning to something else with like 10 min left.
