chilling times ahead
So what ? A private organization has this right . Much different than a public schoolThe Miami Heat are opening a "Vaccinated only" section to their fans on April 1. Don't kid yourself - this is going to happen more and more.
why would they require masks if its all vaccinated people in that section..such science
It's what the CDC recommends. But you already knew that.
Not all students will be vaccinated. You can apply for a medical or religious hardship. It’s really a no brainer. .Holloway is a visionary. I wonder if they will apply this to the football stadium this fall!
Get vaccinated people
The CDC also said a mask is better than the vaccine months ago.
Are flu shots a mandatory requirement as well? Because COVID is less deadly to these kids than flu and asymptotic spread isn't a real thing.
What happened to my body my choice? I guess killing the unborn is ok, but avoiding a harmless flu is not?
I know you know why the CDC stated that previously.
Antivaxxers: Stay home, learn via Zoom. Don't endanger public health.

Good. They also require students to have an MMR vaccine at Rutgers. And NJ public schools have vaccine requirements as well. This isn't any different and is a no-brainer....except for the ignoramuses out there who continue to think it's a joke.
Am I reading this wrong...students mandated but faculty/staff strongly encouraged?
MoveThis is no surprise for New Jersey.
Haha, the COO says the staff is "pretty responsible" as a reason the vaccine isn't mandatory for staff. I'm sure that's the real reason.yes totally bizarre when those are the actually people at risk and students are not
also what if a student already had covid and has determined they do not need a vaccine

If it's mandatory for the students, make it mandatory for staff then. Get everyone's butt on campus for the fall.
It's crazy. They are so concerned about their 'rights' and being told what to do, even when it is good for them. But at the same time, they take issue when a business wants to exercise its rights to exclude them in the interests of public safety. Again, you don't want to get the vaccine, fine. But STFU about how that decision then limits you going forward.Antivaxxers: Stay home, learn via Zoom. Don't endanger public health.
Plenty of companies will request the same. When the vaccine becomes more available I can see airlines requesting the same.So what ? A private organization has this right . Much different than a public school
Was born in NJ, didn't say I lived there now.Move
stop being a complainer. What state do you live in now?Was born in NJ, didn't say I lived there now.
You seem very vested . Do You have kids attending classes at rutgers?yes totally bizarre when those are the actually people at risk and students are not
also what if a student already had covid and has determined they do not need a vaccine
I'm not anti vax. Old and fat people should get it. Young and healthy people have no reason to get it. Go look at the numbers. Flu is more deadly than COVID for college students.

How was I complaining? I was stating in my own way, the OP should not be surprised. Where I live is no one's concern. Planning a move anyway.stop being a complainer. What state do you live in now?
No kids, just a constant complainerYou seem very vested . Do You have kids attending classes at rutgers?
