I think twitter should only have real names. First and last then remove the delete button. All this bs would end. It would be great for politicians, scientist, journalist, athletes, random target employee, etc....It would make everyone more accountable.
And no one reads it but us fanatics who sign up to read it.We going to say social media is the problem when these boards have been around longer? We have a poster on here who spent years saying a particular player wasn’t a D1 player and most recently is concerned with whether a players mom is single or not. And moderators do nothing
And no one reads it but us fanatics who sign up to read it.
So did Bart Starr and Joe Namath, no social media for anyone to see itSadly, we’re not immune from doing it as well:
You just described your average fanatic sport fan who lives and dies with their team.Huh? There are those on this board who feel they can criticize/ attack our players as if they've pros -- some are the very " experts" writing dissertations about out games-- only a win softens their narrative
Did you read the topic?? It was lamenting that one Hope's Ru fans don't become the ******** attacking a college player- I guess you're suggesting some around here are already ********You just described your average fanatic sport fan who lives and dies with their team.
It’s called sports talk
What is a person who writes dissertations about games and are only happy when we winDid you read the topic?? It was lamenting that one Hope's Ru fans don't become the ******** attacking a college player- I guess you're suggesting some around here are already ********
Geez. It's more than that some attacked Geos right to express himself -- if you feel some dont cross the line when it comes to kids- which they are- that's your issueWhat is a person who writes dissertations about games and are only happy when we win
Sounds like a fanatic to me.
Huge difference between being critical and attacking.
What can you say about Tez’s performance last night without sounding critical?
Obviously, death threats and personal threats should be treated as a criminal offense
And not put their name to it.Social media!!!! where psychopaths who’ve been around for thousands of years and ALWAYS will be.

I think message boards fall under the overall social media umbrella, just that their earliest versions started several years earlier than the latest generation of social media platforms. It's really no different nor is the worst of the behavior. We going to say social media is the problem when these boards have been around longer? We have a poster on here who spent years saying a particular player wasn’t a D1 player and most recently is concerned with whether a players mom is single or not. And moderators do nothing
You should believe it, no way I'd put any D1 fanbase beyond that. It's what happens when we as a society professionalize so-called amateur athletics. Brings out the worst in some people. Not limited to American fans either, happens all over the world where it might be just professional or national level even if they don't have intercollegiate competition to the level it is in the US. Truly disgusting in all cases. It's only a friggin game afterall. Some folks hear say some pretty nasty things but I do not believe we have fans that would threaten a player like that on facebook.
With his FT shooting woes, he’d fit right in hereTransfer portal? Pike?
